Another Q though.. does alcohol somehow stop codeine from metabolising into morphine? I read somewhere on here that it does but can't find anything else on it..

Lol, i'm pritty sure that's bullshit bro8)
 
I dunno about alcohol, I know codeine inhibits the metabolism of codeine into morphine, which is why its best to just take 1 large dose as opposed to redosing.
 
Nah, a sock would let too much paracetamol through for sure - too loosely woven I'd think

Get a litre bottle and chop off the top about 3/4 up. Turn the top upside down and you've got yerself a funnel. Put some kitchen roll in the funnel part (a couple of sheets will do), wet it and then pour in the cocodamol solution.

You'll be feeling wonderful in about 40 minutes
 
I've done this many of times before but I have no kitchen roll tonight and shops closed..

PS. Every time i've done this i've hardly got anything from it.. I think i may be one of the unlucky 7% :( Is there anything i can do about it?

How much codeine are you using? I think most people find it completely underwhelming at doses under 200mg.

To complicate things further, if you're opiate naive you may not even notice the more subtle effects of codeine. It sounds paradoxical, but it's one of the strange aspects of opiates in general.

Apparently codeine's effects aren't much to do with conversion to morphine at all, but to C6G, which I don't think is carried out by CYP2D6, so even with a deficiency in that enzyme you should feel something. Possibly not the same euphoria an effective metaboliser would get, but definitely something.
 
After you've filtered the paracetamol from the solution.. i'm guessing you could leave it to evaporate to get codeine powder?

lets see.. 28 x 8 = 224? Account for losses during proceedure = about 200?

but i've done more (after drinking approx 200mg then taking about 4 30/500 pills).. But i guess the redose could have fucked me over?

Oh and I am opiate naive apart from the times i've done codeine (and 1 time smack.. but only a tiny bit i didn't really feel that either it just made me sick)..
 
Well your dosing is more or less spot-on, so it isn't that.

Have you tried substituting DHC for codeine? I know of a few people who don't get much out of codeine but love DHC (although it's equally true the other way around).

There's always the chance that opiates just don't agree with you. You say you got nothing at all off the smack but it made you sick? I can't see how that'd happen, unless it was the truly frightful gear that was around a couple of years ago, which didn't even give me the shadow of a nod but made me projectile vomit Guinness all over a beer garden...
 
^ It was about 2 years ago.. It made me feel motion sick then i puked.. that was about it..

And no I havn't tried DHC i never thought of trying that.. thanks ;)

I've just finished filtering etc and have the final solution ready to drink but i'm gonna leave it a few hours.. I'll be back with news tomorrow :)

Look at the 'eye' on the packet and tell me they don't know what they're doing. =D

Seems you sampled some of the worst gear to hit the UK in years. I actually gave up on street heroin at that stage, vowing never to come back. It lasted a while.

And regarding the evaporation, yes you can. It's a bit of a pain though, as you can't heat the codeine while drying it. I'd just get used to the taste of the liquid. You'll get to like it, mark my words.

Oh, and if any of that made me sound like a patronising Uncle Bill Burroughs type, I'm sorry.
 
People should just go and buy codeine linctus, instead of messing around with CWEs. If I've had no trouble getting it, then I don't see how other people can! Cheap and simple.

Aright thanks ;) No it didn't lol..

The taste of the liquid is foul.. but i'm used to drinkin (or tasting) crappy tasting stuff for a high (I drink white star.. yes im poor :P) although i mixed it with ribena (squash) once and it tastin fine.

Also.. whats the word on drinkin booze with it? If any..

So i drank it.. and it hit me almost instantly? Normal?

Don't like it though.. doesn't feel euphoric.. i feel warm.. slightly nauseus.. maybe i am in that 7%?

Or maybe i don't like opiates? Is that possible? I was really looking forward to properly trying heroin too :(

Edit.. I actually feel dysphoric now wtf? :\

I'm startin to get a headache and feel sick.. ergh..
