Cocaine vs. Methylphenidate Questions

In terms of promoting wakefulness, D-MPH is more potent than cocaine on a mg to mg basis. However, methylphenidate has virtually no affinity for the SERT, while cocaine has some appreciable affinity for the serotonin transporter. This also helps explain why cocaine is more euphoric than MPH.
 
I think it sounds like a pretty interesting experiment actually, given that as you said, coke can be of utter shite quality.

Personally having done ritalin though, it provided an ok rush when IV'd, but made me feel like absolute shit the next day. Then I tried eating it, and felt absolutely, utterly shite all day long. Horrible fucking drug, wouldn't touch it again with a bargepole, but each to their own..

One thing would be though - how are you going to do 2 lines and say which felt better? I mean, you'll feel the first line on a clear head, but the second drug will be tainted by the feelings of the first one, espescially if they do the longer lasting ritalin first..
 
There is no contest between the two- Cocaine simply is superior as far as euphoria, rush, peak, pleasurableness. MTP leaves way too many tweaky side effects like poorly cooked Meth (chocked full of Azirine/Iodoephedrine/etc). Cocaine is like an electric captive-bolt gun to the forehead and an orgasm at the same time (IV anyway). Fuck insufflation.

Lidocaine is a much stronger local anaesthetic than Cocaine (i.e. produces much stronger numbing sensations).

Anyone with half a brain can pick out a crushed up pill line vs street coke in a line.

Yep. In case anyone doesn't realize why his "experiment" doesn't make any sense to conduct, it's because he's not conducting an experiment. He's trying to figure out how to make fake coke so he can try to sell it as real coke. And I hope he gets his ass beaten when he rips someone off.
 
yeah, it's easy to see a bunch of powder and a few clumps and think it's shit, but what can you do....not buy.

amphetamine is speed, methylphenidate is similar in structure and belongs in the same class.

Ahh, bringing back a months old thread for a meme, it's always easy to spot the 4/420channers ;) . I wasn't referencing anything other than vastly different half-lives, but now I'm going to use BEHIND SEVEN ROXIES as a CRUISE CONTROL euphemism for the near-religious security of an opie high.

tBirdee is right. "Speed" originally most commonly meant amphetamine, but of course opened up to also include methamphetamine and others. People definitely called other similar euphoric stims (phenmetrazine, methylphenidate, etc) "speed," and Ritalin's the classic, most well-known ADHD drug, most frequently used as an example by soccer moms, so it could be called "kiddy speed."

But, Adderall, Dexedrine, and Vyvanse are the most accurate "kiddy speeds," all being amphetamines. Even with the methyl- prefix, methylphenidate is closer to a "kiddy coke" than methamphetamine.

As you may guess from my ridiculous dissection of slang, I'm taking a break from my studies, on a little bit of that kiddy speed myself.

what were the results of mixing ritalin and lidocaine? did it still have the same taste as coke? was anyone fooled?
