So i've been smoking weed for aprox. 4-5 years (starting when i was 15), not like EVERY DAY but "occasionaly" something like two or three times a week. Now it feels as if I can only use like 1/3 of my brain... It's as if my mind is "clouded" my long-term memory is weak, and when I go out I don't have like talk subjects and I feel as if im not entirely there... I know it sound kind of weird but its hard to explain. I dont feel retarded lol just not focused. 8(
I've stoped smoking weed for about 2 months now, should I be feeling something different? I've read somewhere that your short-term memory is supposed to develop since you stop smoking and you should feel the difference in like two weeks...
Maybe someone who used to smoke and then stopped can share here if he felt any different and after how long
Thanks and stay safe

just heavy grass smokers where administered the drug and to everybody's surprise, especially the the poor heavy green subjects, the marijuana users instantly went into severe opiate withdraw. Based on the fact that opiate receptors are definitely involved in the MJ high I would expect you to see significant improvement between the fourth and fifth month as those extra opiate receptors start to turn off. Literally, as the first ones turn off it will seem as if your mind finally cleared overnight. This process will continue from about five months out through about seven and a half months out when the last of those receptors fire down. Also remember the brain is like a muscle, the more you use it the stronger it gets. There is another interesting phenomenon of memory and being high.. the old saying goes something like if you studied for the test high, you better get high before the test; so you may have to brush up or relearn tasks you performed solely when you were high. If you don't smoke at ALL you are well on your way, good luck.
