Clocks!!

There's always that difficult moment just before bed when you're not sure if your digital clocks update themselves or not and you go to sleep risking being late up.

or early and that's even worse.

Comps do it auto-stylee.
If you've insomnia, or have been up on stims for days (or both... which would be shit), no worries - Does it automatically.

I feel sorry for the folks doing night shift at my old factory.
It was bad enough doing 12hour shifts but then to have the clocks go back an hour so you end up working a 13 hour shift was a real bastard indeed.

I've struggled all week this week to get out of bed for 6.30am 7pm at the latest, some days I've been dragging my arse out of the shower at 8am 8o

My body is ahead of the clocks - I need that extra hour badly, like so many. SAD is on us - we need to be strong and force our way / day into natural light.

It's that or we hibernate and I for one don;t have the salary or pension to cover :|

Pleased my 4 resident hedgehogs are getting on with business as nature dictates. Fuck Cameron eh boys :\

I must admit that the thought of being able to hibernate through the cold dark winter months is very appealing to me.

Would be so much easier to be a jetsetter who could just relocate to warmer climates, or even just more hospitable climates at the time of year that the current ones are not very welcoming.

From http://www.timeanddate.com/time/dst/2012.html

It changes tonight here in the UK, maybe not where you come from, which based on your username I imagine is the USA where it does change next weekend.

oh shit, i dint even notice it was in the forum that it was in i just looked at new posts and saw this. my bad dude lol mym mom told me i was wrong when i told her it was tonight so thats why i looked it up

Yeah, I just need to win that Euromillions lottery and then I could take us all away for a tour of the worlds drug capitals.

I've done quite well at doing that for the past few years. I've spent most of the winters out the country in tropical climates but it looks like I'll be here for the bulk of winter this time round. :(

When you go away to these far flung climes Spade, how much cash do u take with u and how much money do you know you are gonna need for accommodation, food and general living costs etc?

It depends how much cash I have at the time and how long I intend to be away for. I find out rough costs on the internet, amazing what you can find on Google. ;)

Good on you mate. I always admire folk that just get up and go and see other parts of this world we live in.

I don't understand why more people don't do it. Obviously some people are restricted because of family, financial situation, kids and whatever but I know loads of folk who claim they 'wish' they could go travelling (and could because they have little in the way of commitments and shitty jobs they hate) yet never do. The worlds too much of a wonderful place to spend your whole life in the town / country you were born and never leave bar maybe a week in Little Britain in Spain.

True mate, its just not possible for some folk due to commitments but I guess if you have none then its quite easy to get a job for a while and save up the cash to go away somewhere for a while until your funds run out.
I think that it's something I would like to do but I just don't have the balls to go away by myself.
I'd be fine if I had a mate with me but I just don't think I could do it by myself. All respect to you for actually getting out there and doing it.

I thought it did the hour thingy at 2am?

my laptop and phone haven't synchd yet ... my phone for some reason is displaying 0.59 and 1.12 which makes no sense
