They changed freddos??

When?

I thought they were just the regular cadbury chocolate moulded into the shape of a frog?

^^ Back in th early 90's they had a more distinct taste. Truuuust me. I've had many conversations with friends over this and we've all come to the conclusion that they definetly changed their recipe at some point

weren't freddos originally made by another company so when cadbury took over they started using the same milk choc to make the freddos - well that what I thought, cause the freddos definatly taste different now than they did 10 years ago.

Damn you all to hell!! Every night at around this time, I start thinking about wanting some chocolate, and seriously contemplate putting on my scarf and beanie and walking for 20 minutes to buy some. Usually I can resist. But no, you had to start this thread!!

I was going to buy those the other day at the supermarket and then saw how expensive they were They wouldn't last two seconds in our house with the Choccy Monster (dale) anyway...

I had a bounty last night... yum. It's kind of disgusting how I eat them. Eat all the chocolate off the outside, then squish the coconut bit in the centre into a ball and then eat that

I know it's not specifically a chocolate bar, but hands up if you're like me and you go buy those bottles of Cadbury Hot Fudge topping, and then just crack the lid open and suck it dry

Bounty was my childhood chocolate bar, I never originally liked anything coconut, but my on going obsession with anything tropical / hawaiian meant that I ended up teaching myself to get over it and like coconut. So now, here I am years down the track, still mad for coconut and the crappy palm trees they insist on wrapping it in.

I also like Kit Kats, but in the OLD PACKAGING!! I always liked dragging my nails down the curves of the bar and cracking it into 4, but noooo, now they've given it crappy packaging in one piece.

my mum bought some of these for us the other day, it wasn't the best ever.... it's like a hard-shell-like thing on the outside with chocolate in....

Thats like when they changed the taste of Freddo's. It's just not the same

They never changed the taste of freddo, but freddo chocolate does contain a lot of rework. Rework is chocolate bars and blocks that have been broken, or badly wrapped, during production is melted down and 'reworked'. All flavours that don't contain any hard bits are reworked.

^OMG OMG OMG.
Peanut Butter = my favourite food when combined with chocolate..a match more perfect than anything else on this Earth.
Reece's Peanut Butter Cups are a prime example.
