^^ For weed they use baggies alright. Coke for me usually came in like the corner of a plastic bag tied off. Heroin comes in baggies or foils, depends on the person. Once I had coke in paper wraps, once or twice heroin in paper wraps. Never seen capsules or wax bags.

All the dealers will just run out and buy em all up now to stock up.

Well you can just buy them on the internet too, its not like they're illegal anywhere else except Chicago.

Now what will I package my extra suite buttons in! Cause you know little baggies are the only way people package drugs what about just ripping up and a groccery bag and burning it shut. Maybe Chicago should just ban all plastic bags8) . We cant forgot about the children!

That was witty ;)

Chicago is full of uptight douchebags anyway.

I actually had to take a moment to consider whether or not to use the term assholes instead of douchebags; maybe words do mean something, after all. :\

In other news, because people use lighters to smoke weed and crack those are illegal now two.

In other news, drug dealers use cars to transport and sell drugs, those are also banned.

In other news, drug addicts use needles to get high, so all needles are illegal and hospitals can't use them anymore.

Lets make more shit illegal...

i dont like you man.

but you hit the nail on the head. and i like that. very much.

good one!

^Whomsoever you may disagree with today, you may need to be getting behind tommorrow.

ridiculous. all that will happen now is a return to plastic wrap or folded paper. woohoo.

Considering you could use a: corner of a plastic bag; glass vials (easily and cheaply obtainable from most any smoke shop) ; plastic vials (same) ; wax paper folded ; any paper folded into a "bindle" or whatever you're going to call it ; balloons ; tin Foil ; baggies bigger than 2" squared ; etc etc etc.. I honestly don't think this will do a damn thing to the drug world.
But what it WILL do, it strain the system that much more. This will now cause people to be put through the legal system that don't need to be, causing that much more bullshit... Now people are going to be paying 1.5 THOUSAND FUCKING DOLLARS, when the leave the extra button baggie on their shirt, or whatever. It's just insane... Whoever comes up with these ideas just needs to kill themselves, because they suck at life. Pft, and prohibition supporters claim that drug abusers are dumb...

ok i can understand trying to target businesses which cater to drug dealers.. but adding a possession of plastic baggie charges onto drug charges is just chicken shit imo

They already have a law like this in Az. It is an extremely vague "paraphernalia" law. It can imply the use of a huge variety of different things/ways in which drugs are stored/transported.

It can mean aluminum foil, plastic bags, paper bindles whatever. Over there it carries a class 6 felony. They charge first for the possession of the drugs and then a 2nd felony for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Then the next step is to offer a plea agreement. They offer to drop the paraphernalia charge as long as one pleads guilty to the drug possession. Tack on a huge fine and away you go.

Its not even a good deal, hell one can just take it to jury trial and accomplish the same end result. There is no actual reduction in sentencing. Welcome to double jeopardy and by the time John McStain is in office all of these draconian drug laws will be nationwide. Tent cities coming to a town near you.

No no no... paraphernalia is different. This is about bags in general I believe. They are banning the actual bag not adding on additional charges because you have sandwich bags next to your scale in your trunk. Quite different. I believe that law is everywhere.

Peace,
PL

dont forget to ban ziplock while you're at it. Cuz, thats what ounces are sold in.

Oh, no more sandwiches, cuz ive seen a sandwith IN a ziplock IN a ziplock commercial!

prohibition supporters claim that drug abusers are dumb...

so called "prohibition supporters" are fucking stupid people, completely terrified of any kind of CHANGE. and stubborn as fuck. Imagine a person so stubborn that they cant look at a history book, only 80 years ago the same shit happened with alcohol, because of the prohibition the mob started doing business. NOT ONE GOOD THING CAME OUT OF ALCOHOL PROHIBITION. Now, you guys are probably aware that history repeats itself

I believe this law will drastically reduce drug use.

either sarcasm or stupidity.

...Wow

Well, actually living and copping Chi-town, and assuming the law does go into effect...I really am left speechless.

No more Batmans :(, no more Supermans :(... oh where or where have all my heroes gone 8(!?!?!?

Fucking idiots :|. Back to the paper and foils, ceran and vials.

I think the verdict is pretty unanimous as the to the potential effectiveness of this brilliant law 8), all the BLers (and anyone in their right mind for that matter) have got it and said it totally right.

Obviously this alderman hasn't sat in for the full course of 'Marketing 101', or even Economics ('supply and demand', people).

If you haven't had the luck to find or reach 'your man/guy/dude', they've made cruisin the "open-air markets" (the term police here refer to 'spots') as hard as can fucking possibly be... with 5-0's and UCs patrolling like god damn roaches --that's real curbing, and it works to an extent that everyone can see.

This...this is just a fucking joke.

hey, ever hear of LSD on altoids? SWIM has tried it, and it indeed is used. Therefore, altoids should be banned. Not only can it be used to hold illegal drugs, it is also a method of making a "hit"!

The capsules that people use to make RC doses. All capsules, banned.

The last roll SWIM took was stamped Diesel jean logo, therefore, Diesel Jeans should be illegal (and where i am, NYC, they are very popular among jean-junkies)
