I say im from chitown because if i say im actually from the burbs (GE) then people either have no idea where im from or think im a rich yuppie (which im not)

chicago is great though, i love gettin ripped and riding around downtown
 
Just moved to Chicago about a month ago. I live off of Belmont and Broadway and so far i love it!
 
My girlfriend lives in the burbs,and for suburbs they aren't THAT bad. Not that I would wanna live there,but thier tolerable. Burbs of chicago are way more happening then burbs of other cities.
 
i love my place on the corner of clark & armitage. a 10min. walk to some dimly lit bars that are just below the radar of the ever so present 20 something yr old abercrombie & fitch frat cocks & their barbie counterparts.. or a 10min. bus ride downtown.

chi town is where it's at.
i used to live in nyc for 8 years and thought it was the place to be ... just recently returned from a week long vacation in humidified sticky ass manhattan, couldn't wait to get back to chi town. i mean it gets hot here as well, but when u catch that wind off of the lake - shit it's almost as good as that first early morning hit. which can be a pain in the ass, having to get on that green line at like midnight to go & visit a friend.

i grew up in the burbs and after a long time out of satate and by a stroke of bad luck, i am back in the suburbs (south naperville) again. i was living downtown for the last year (first in ghetto uptown argyle and sheridan area and then lovely lakeview halsted - right by illinois masonic) and am trying to get back into the city asap. alwyas looking for new people to meet up with and whatnot. hit me up, chicago bl-ers!
