Chicago Heroin v. Please refrain from offing yourself.

Yo what up blighters. Well as a few of u know my arm had been infected for awhile. Stopped shooting in right arm and cleared up... But now using in my left arm the handful of times a day times many many days etc... Well my wound was bad and keep saying I'll be ok I'll get it checked next weekend. Since it was an open wound it had a bad odor that I tried to hide but I guess u did not well enough. Daily would have to wrap it and cover it and slowly my arm was functioning less and less.. My work started to notice the odor and that was the time I said I have to get this checked before I loose my job. Go to ER and they said it did nog look good. Bone was rotten and had bad infection. Sent me to chicago hospital due to more drs to see my arm. All said was too far gone to save. Now they were worried about further infections but luckily it was just my arm.

So all that being said, bone was infected my arm was amputated right above elbow... Crazy stuff but at least I am alive. So warning to you all any lil open infections get it checked out. The pain was intense and it us funny I have the sensation of still feeling my arm, fingers etc and how ironic it is called fantom feeling. I just made up a name never thinking it would mean something someday. I am home now with meds and anxiety meds. So miss using and can arm till try but my feet veins are shot, hard to hit neck and not many options. Only to use the last good handful I have. Also got a script for subs then in the next few weeks will transition to them from these legal pain pills... Sorry for long story. But hope this will be a lesson to someone In The future. Would love to use a few more time just need to try to find someone to hit for me . Wish I could of had them left the IV that they gave me meds thru but I'm sure they would legally not be allowed to let me leave with them...
 
Good luck ridingthebrownline... I'll be following in your footsteps soon... Anyone know or can suggest shooting in unique places with right arm only ? Man this drug us purely from the devil...
 
Damn man that's fucked up shit. Are you still able to do your job or can you get disability? Did the hospital give you plenty of pain meds or did they undermedicate you because you are a user. I have been reading federal and state guidelines for methadone maintinece and they state that pain meds should be perscribed in extra high doses and more frequent then normal patients. I know hat doesn't apply to you but I thought it was interesting.

Damn. Yeah that's fucked up, man. Just goes to show how serious this crap can be and that there are real consequences.

I'd appreciate it if you would make a post in the Should I Try Heroin? thread in OD, the link is in my signature, and tell that story again. I think it would be really good for people to read that and realize how serious IV drug use is and what can happen.
 
Damn dude, not trying to sound like a dick but shit I've seen enough war movies to know if a wound smells horrid then you should prolly take action immediately

I'm very sorry for your loss though Fantom, you should feel lucky though the infection didn't spread anymore, you could have easily lost your life
You should def post that in the should I try h thread Scags suggested for real
 
holy fuck fantom I am so sorry man. that is really unbelievable. this drug is pure evil. i say that but i hope this time it sticks to my mind and soul and i can leave this life behind.

just saw dr. ready and i am gonna do a home detox and see him on monday. then take it from there. gave me clonodine and some ativan. i am doing surprisingly well right now and am in good spirits.

Blew my mind how much easier it made my wd

Then if possible try to get some gabapentin or pregablin, the latter being much more potent
Helps tremendously with rls, anxiety, and insomnia

I've been clean since Jan 2 after a long nasty habit, it's def possible, oh and have loud music blasting constantly
 
Damn Fantom. I'm sorry man. I'm glad that you made it through that alive. I can't imagine how hard that must've been but, you seem to have the right attitude now. It takes a strong person for that for sure.

They are doing wonderful things nowadays with prosthetics too. I know that stuff can be outrageously expensive but, at least you have options. Check this thing out. With a different attachment you could be very popular with the ladies.

Damn fantom I'm really sorry to hear that. I'm just glad the infection didn't reach your blood stream. How long did you know it was infected before seeking medical help?

Anyway, fantom that's really crazy. Reminds me of this time I was on the west side and I was talking to this guy who was an amputee. I figured he probably needed help so I helped him cook his dope and I hit him in a vein that was right in his nub. I think he was amputated right above the elbow too, his left arm so he still had his right. If I were you I would just take a break man, seriously. Although I'm sure that you want to get high now more than ever before.

^ I just can't imagine wanting to cut your dope with sleeping pills. But I'm not from Chicago nor do I regularly shoot dope but it just seems wrong.
 
I don’t post often because I don’t use anymore. However, once every few months I get a craving which I then regret for about three times as long as the dope lasted. Anyway, I drove thru the west side Friday night and it was full of cops. Between the highway and my favorite hood I spotted three or four black guys shouting, “Hey! Over here! Yo!” at me and, I would assume, every other white driver that passed by.

No one sells like that anymore. Ten years ago, when there were great blows everywhere, corner boys were shouting. Now everything is much more cloak and dagger. Still, I thought, this might be easy. But looking at these guys I could see they were older - mid 20’s to mid 30’s - and in shape. So I just looked at them and drove by.

After a complete fucked up hour of driving around and not scoring (GOOD!) I decided to pass by those guys on my way home to see if my suspicions were right. As I’m heading south, an undercover car turns into my lane to block someone who was parked at the spot. Yep. Reverse sting. Seeing a flat bed tow truck cruising the area makes me sure a lot of people lost their cars yesterday.

I say: Bullshit. The west side glory days have been gone for five to seven years. Once you’ve been away from it for a while- a long while - kratom does just fine. But like a crazy person, I keep wanting to fuck with that cunt every now and then.
