I JUST posted something in a cocaine thread, about the taste of crack, good crack. I remember it one way, can't find proof anywhere. So I thought I'd try here. Oh well. Hello Chitowners. Wow. I haven't been on in a while and seems this thread is pretty dead now. Perhaps that's a good thing. Could also be cuz the scene is horrible. Def not like 2007 when I started messing with h. The fact it turned all fent is what finally made me quit. January 25 is my one year anniversary sober and I honestly don't miss it, the fent that is. Now if good old h came back online I'd be tempted but I doubt it will use. I wonder if dealers realize they're turning away customers with this fent crap. But my life has turned around 100% since quitting also. Just got hired at a new job but this time I won't blow thousands off my paycheck a month for drugs. I can't believe how much I'd have in the bank if i didn't use. My dealer was probably screwed when I quit cuz I alone was paying his bills I'm sure but he was great to work with but he could never get h. Well all that is over now. Its still interesting to read what the scene is like now which don't look too good. Take care all.

I’m glad I got away from fetty too. My life really went down hill when I got on it. I always preferred real roxys and that’s what I got (when I had the money) but when I didn’t I’d use fetty powder. Fetty was always my last resort becuase I never got any euphoria from it, it just put me to sleep. I od’d twice on it and it just overall destroyed my life. So glad I’m clean from that bs now.

Anyone still here? Wanting to see if any of the "old timers" from 2012ish are still around. I've been clean for 8 1/2 years now. Still on methadone. Back at the end of 2015/early 2016 I was out there bad... caught 3 felonies within 4 months, and life was a shit storm. Everything was crashing down. My fiance and I got back on methadone and stopped doing dope within the first 3 months of being on the methadone. This year we'll have 9 years clean. So crazy to think about. Life isn't perfect but it's so much better than it was back then!! If you're not looking to get clean, I'm not judging AT ALL. I'm just letting the people that DO want to get clean but are struggling, know that there's a light at the end of the tunnel and it gets better! Clean or not, I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe!! I've lost so many friends over the last few years. Please be careful and always carry narcan if you're using or are around people that are!!

Glad to see some people clean for a while. Same boat as you i was into RC scene and abused mxe, speed, and everyhing that we were getting in europe back 2010-2012.. been as well clean since 2015.. and now clean from smoking , cannabis and alchohol, pretty much replaced all this with tons of physical activities.
Offcourse life still aint perfect, but does it have to be? offcourse there still some scars from abuse but clarity and being in shape make every life problem much more manageable. Stay safe everyone out there

What’s up with the grey dope. Back when I copped on the west side that was everywhere. I feel fortunate to be out before the peak of the fent era back when dope was still h.

2017/2018 was when it all went to shit. I'm about 1 1/2 years sober cuss I couldn't take the fent anymore. It destroyed my body. I'm surprised I'm a healthy as I am. It will never go back to what it was. Fent is too cheap. Even cokeheads can't trust what they get. It's sad when you can't even use recreationally because of the high risk of dying.

I havn't used dope since about 2010. Is it really just all fetty now on the westside because that would be a shame because there use to be so many great dope spots there

I can’t express how grateful I am that you encouraged me to take a closer look at the Bernes Method. I started on Sunday with the recommended .5 mg, followed the instructions, and today I took my first 3 mg dose… 3mg right off the bat would normally blast me off into the nightmare of PWD, so I am AMAZED to find that instead, I actually feel like I have a little bit more energy!

Hiya. Ik this was posted a while ago but I was wondering how this worked for you and if it was successful. I’ve been having trouble with this method. I started at .5mg. Next day .5 x2 a day then 1mg and 1mg x2 a day. The morning I hit 2mg I was thrown into some pretty nasty PWDS. Idk why. Even 8-10 bags of h/fent didn’t pull me out of it, I had no choice but to ride it out. The next does I took 1mg instead of the 2mg and STILL got thrown into PWDS. Dunno why I’m getting hit with these awful PWDS after taking subs for a few days?! I’m doing this on my own with zero support or outside help and I’m quickly running out of subs and using MORE h/fent to not be sick while taking the subs. I hope someone can give me some insight to what this is happening or if I’m doing something wrong.. I need off this shit, like last week!

I may have been at the Cicero train station once before the dope was fent. No charges (That stuck and weren't exponged or deferred after probation). S/O bailed (which is good, she left my bed to go break into a house to steal a med on literally on the damn nightstand). On Sub but almost off-ish between 1-2mg a day.

Just glad I read the writing on the wall and got out when fent was getting in

Hey there, sorry you’re struggling. I didn’t stay clean from the Burmese method. I was in a lot of discomfort for a week or so, even in 16mg a day. But it did work, without major WD symptoms—just persistent mid/minor ones.

eventually I quit by stockpiling some benzos and gabapentin. Loading tf up on them—i mean like chemically induced coma (4-6mg of Xanax every 4 hours with no tolerance, plus 800mg gabapentin.)

I did that for 24 hours, then titrated up with the subs. Everyone says you gotta wait 72 hrs. That’s not entirely true.

Get to the 24 hr mark (hopefully with benzos, idk how I would’ve made it otherwise). Then take .25 mg sub. Do that for four hours or so on the hour.

Then bump it to .5 for four hours or so. Then .75mg.

By hour 48, you should be able to take 4-8 mg without going into PWD.

Yea I'm so glad I got out before fetty, that shit looks horrible. I only did fent one that I know and those were patches.

I can't believe ppl still pay for that ish --- leading cause of death between 18-35 (25 maybe) in the US for a few yrs (Or maybe it was behind car crashes but I think it was #1)

I mean there’s gotta be someone growing poppies and making diacetyl, but the folks in the hood want you buying their stuff, so for all intents and purposes: no, you can’t get real dope there.

In the year or so that I was going down there, quality would change every week or two. Sometimes there was definitely real dope cut to shit with fent, and other times you’d be in withdrawals after 3-4 hours (no dope).

It makes sense for the sellers, they want you down there daily hurting for more.

I wonder if, in the long run, it’s not as sustainable for them though. It sure as shit incentivized me to get sober. Haven’t touched it in 16 months

The problem is although everyone says they don't want it --- It is still selling. All of it. Never met a dopeboy who had a problem moving his packs because they had a fent cut.

I really blame the consumer for this one addicted or not --- H is kind of bulky a little smelly, ton more euphoria. It deserves a higher price.

Grey Death -- often a hodgepodge of semi-legal opi's and fent that is dirt cheap and hardly requires smuggling (Volume wise) --- Yet people pay 10$ a pack just like they use to dope! INSANITY!

I get it they are heavily addicted and not everyone has money for suboxone or w/e --- ( I feel like if you got money for dope daily you could swing it with some discipline but idk) --- Still a line shoulda been drawn. Personally I would go, ill give ya 15 for the real shit or I will take a walk. BUT NOT ENOUGH PPL DO THAT TO GET IT ON THE MENU

That's a shame, what use to get late 90's early early 2000's was fire. I didn't know people were actually coming from out of state to get what I was just regularly getting until I saw some doc about heroin and Chicago.

Hell… I def knew people were coming from out of state. I had a phone plug who got a 20 year fed sentence I used to see people from Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio, Missouri… he got busted in “Operation Heroin Hotline” in 2012. There were other people from here who bought off of him.
