No - they may break down in the gut a bit slower, but in the end you're getting the same dose of the drug.

Only thing is some of the counterfeit tablets these days are very good copies and they obviously don't follow guidelines about how much the dose of active drug can vary by. If you didn't get your tablets direct from a pharmacy (and I don't count online pharmacies as being safe w.r.t. counterfeit pills), there's always a chance that what you're getting isn't the real deal. They can have unpredictable amounts of the drug in them (always less than they're supposed to have) or even a different drug altogether - there were a load of Valium 10's knocking about where I live a couple of years ago. When they were eventually analysed it turned out that they contaibed lorazepam instead of diazepam.

im getting them from a reputable pharmacy and its not an online pharmacy or blackmarket. it just seems with the dilaudids i have now have alot of buffer or filler or whatever in the spoon unlke other brands i have. when i do feel like iv'ing one from time to time.

i know with knoll and ethex and roxane their isnt much leftover, you get the whole pill, with maybe alittle ring remaining. but im not even sure what name brand im getting to tell you the truth.

i can fill right at my doctors office. they have their own pharmacy. they are the real deal, so he wouldnt be in business 40 years selling bunk meds. anyways, thanx alot.

i've heard the same from a lot of people, some perfer the ivax oxys, some prefer the purdue oxys, some actually even prefer the endo oxys (obviously people actually taking them as prescribed), but i've done a test myself with the ivax and purdue oxy 40s, and to me the purdue ones feel much stronger than the ivax ones (abg) Same goes with the methadone and methadose, some people prefer the dose, some the done... i really cant stand either. As far as lor's go, the 10/325s are much nicer than the 10/500s, but thats still a whole hell of a lot of apap.

I also heard that if your cutting your pills in half, sometimes one half of the pill will have more oxycodone in it than the other half, cuz of the way it was mixed and pressed.. is that possible or just another ol junkie wives tale ?

ive been told the same thing when splitting a pill. actually, i have encountered it. when i had a lower tolerence a friend and i split an 80mg oxy one day and i didnt feel the rush i was looking for. the week before i got a great one. so i would day yes.

Yep, just a 'junkie wives tale'! (I do like that saying ). Before being made up into tablets, huge hoppers full of the correct ratio mixture of fillers, binders and active drug are made up so that the mixture ratio is correct for any sized sample. In that way they ensure that each tablet contains the same dose of drug equally distributed throughout the tablet. Any variation outside the limits laid down (+/- 3% weight of active drug) results in a whole production run of tablets being scrapped as unsuitable - that the job of quality control in the pharmaceutical industry. They'll take a random sample of say 2 tablets out of every 100 and then assay them to ensure they contain the correct amount of drug

The FDA is sooo strict, as is the DEA about these things, that they wouldn't let companies get away with 3% off. I called the FDA like 2 years ago and was talking to him for like an hour and he said they have to have the same exact active ingredients. How the long the drug takes to absorb can vary, but I think its more placebo than anything.

My Father has been a pharmacist for over 35 years now and I actually once asked him this question. Its been a while since I asked but he said It has to do with the binders and fillers, the disolution rate of the individual pill and something he refferred to different release mechanisms. Ill have to ask him again when I see him for the FLorida/Georgia Basketball game wednesday. Ill get back to you guys.

I dont know about that... I've had many klonopins in my day and these purepac seem to be alot shittier then the ones I got before. Just read this and agree:

I'm not sure if buying Klonopin is any better then generic clonazepam.. all I know is the klonopin I had before were green and are much better then these yellow generic clonazepam made by purecon. The local CVS near me has the good klonopins and walgreens has the bad generic. I've found even with other pills CVS seems to destroy walgreens.
