Carnival of psychedelic poultry- PD Silly Goose make out session

the mescaline yeast idea has been floating around for a while (not mescaline inperticular but the concept of finding the genes for the enzymes and splicing it into another organism to produce drugs).

the problem is that its not just one gene, its a shit ton of them for the whole biosynthesis.

i think that they should use protein simulators and run the mescaline molecule through one of those genetic algorithm processors, thousands of simulated generations later (a few weeks probably) and we have the code for mescaline

the problem there is the computing power for the protein simulators

I'll be going for 20mg, as well as experimenting with dosages lower and higher. Last time I took 2c-i, I had acquired only 50mg so I decided to swing for the fences -- I took 27.5mg and puked crazy and didn't have a very good time at all. :\ This time I've acquired a nice little stash (as to have plenty for the summer :D), so I'm going to take my time with the material and really toy around with dosages and see if I can find my 'sweet spot', its gunna be good times. :D
 
take it with some sugar in a gelcap... also, if you can drink a small SMALL glass of water with it to slow absorbtion a tad it helps.

poke pleanty of smot--this is crucial to any gi discomfort and increases the effect at least 2 fold (especially on the comeup)

snorting small unmeasured bumps (from a premeasured source of about 12-15mg) over the course of a few hours is a good way of administering it.

ive never taken a rediculous dose of the stuff, but i cant imagine more being a bad thing, heh :)

oh, and while were on the topic of 2ci (i actually came onto just now bl to post about possible side effects of 2ci and just HAD to stop by the social thread) i would like to add that for me there is a strange effect on temperature regulation in the body, maybe it has something to do with bloodflow or the hypothallamus... but ive felt extremely cold in a warm atmosphere (in the sunshine 80f +), just today, and right now my hands are cold out of nowhere and taking forever to warm up.

this is from only 2 experiments; one on sunday and another time before that on teusday last week. side effects have persisted to this very moment, fading in and out of course, with mild oev under any kind of hightened state (emotional, stressfull, concentrated [which is real cool because if i look at something hard enough it will start to warp], etc..)

i have not smoked cigarettes now for 3 weeks (after a pretty bad infection the smell of the smoke makes me want to gag and cough, and this is after almost a half year of smoking tops and bugler rollies and years of reds, 27s, etc...), i doubt this would be contributing to the coldness of the hands at the moment, and it certainly wouldnt account for my entire body being cold in warm sunlight.

another time about a year ago taking 2ci i was sitting in a warm room and i got so cold my lips were turning blue (in real life, other sober people mentioned it) even as i was under a blanket.

even if its slightly cold in a room i might feel colder (but if its actually cool in the room it just makes me blow up like X, heh... kinda similar to the feeling of being wet all over, then when actual liquid touches your skin its a whole new expereince, also 2ci)

very strange shit. someone should reaserch this.

Forest in the daytime is greeeat of course, I've had plenty of good experiences so far just being in my house/backyard at night as well.
2c-E is definitely such a great chemical that I'm just getting to know over the last few weeks, during trips I'll find myself having the most random analysis of different aspects of my life, very therapeutic indeed.

Indeed, it's called recombinant DNA technology. The basic idea is to take a gene(s) of interest from an organism and insert it into an organism which has a MUCH faster growth rate ie bacteria or yeast. End result is lots of desired product in a short time frame.
And yea the genes that code for the enzymes that produce mescaline are very numerous, didn't say it would be easy, muchos time would be needed.

I first heard of it a year or two ago when I was researching synths just for the hell of it. The guy that wrote up the plan submitted it to MAPS for funding. His reason being of why they should fund it was to "ensure the supply of mescaline to the research community" hahahaha........It got denied :\
 
The most intense trip I've had from 2CI was when I snorted ~20mg. I wasn't going to do all over it in one go. But thats how it ended up. I was in the shower a few minutes after when the real burn was starting to come on. I've never felt so much pain in my sinus. I tilted my head back to flush my nose out with the shower water. That really didn't help much, so I waited it out. The burn only lasted about 10 minutes in reality, but in my panicky state it seemed like forever.

It took me some time to get probably dried off. I left to my room from the bathroom, the hallway was wrapping and flowing like nothing I've never seen. Intense purples and blues were radiating from every crevice on the floor and hall. When I got to my room, I put on some clothes and tried sitting at my desk to even my mood out with some tunes, but really wasn't working out. Since I really couldn't see anything I curled up in my bed and snuggled with my pillow to give me comfort. I pretty much blanked out for a few hours, I came back to reality with an HD view on the world. Every single fucking thing looked 1000x more vivid, it was kind of offsetting. I enjoyed a cigarette and a chat with my roommate. From what my roommate told me, I watched TV the whole time and had the most confused look on my face. He would ask what I'd be doing, and I wouldn't respond coherently. A further look into my room revealed the true cause of this confusion.

wow looking at this.. maybe I should just draft up a TR for this experience. But then again I don't know. I'm not that good of a writer. well thats my one-of-many 2CI journeys.

this is what I've done in the past 15 minutes at work. Thank God only another 10minutes left on this 12hr day. WOOOOOOO

my drive for going to school right now is actually genetic engeneering using recombinant dna tech.

once they have the simulating power and another idea of mine* we will be making houses that grow from seed. organic spacecraft. biolumnescent walls. fuck, well make things just for aesthetic value with genes from the deep blue sea. im prety sure well even get organisms that can transport metals and slowly build things like coral grows. skyscrapers that dont stop growing.
gonna have shit that looks like it came right out of some japaneese anime.

* ribosomes attached to another organell that flash diferent colors as it unzips a strand of dna. get fine microscope and a computer to read it and you have the entire genome of an organism in 1 cell cycle. i beleive there is currently a contest for 10 million dollars for something that can process a genome in under a month. hit em with that.

Nice, I'm just finishing up my biotechnology program now, I graduate in June. It's been good, the way things are going it's one field that holds a promising future job-wise. I just got a sweet job as a lab tech in a cardiovascular research lab at the local university here, not doing any recombinant DNA stuff and it's not really my field of interest but it's alright for now, money talks. I'm actually hoping to get into a pharmacy program, it's more my thing, but I'm dreading how many transfer courses I'll have to take and how much more school it means.

I really like your ideas on protein simulators. Organic spacecrafts ftw! :D

imagine if they had a program like CAD that would whip up a genome for whatever you designed.

thats what im going for here...

my idea for quickly maping genomes (and compiling a database that would be used in the genetic algorithm and run through the simulators)
and CAD that would be interfaced with the algorithm computer (it would give the perameters for the algorithm to select future generations)

thats all you need to completely change the face of the earth and the color of the heavens

you wouldnt even be able to sell the technology it would leak and lifes code would be at the fingertips of every artist on the planet.

a magical world. imagine fir trees that change colors with the breeze; the pollen of which contains lsd. a quick hike through the woods into wonderland might be nice...

how about a giant ring around the circumfrance of earths orbit around the sun that would grow fuel and food. maybe steal some gas from jupiter to get the organics you need to start it.

imagine a world where the conflicts of limited resources did not exist. it is this thought that is driving me right now.

I could go for that. I've always thought that if the ergot fungus can produce ergotamine, genes can be added to the genome to code for enzymes for LSD biosynthesis. If there was a recombinant LSD producing strain of ergot I'd have a perpetual culture going in my basement. :)

This would be nice, but it is exhibiting "locust" mentality. When we overuse our home planet we'll have to venture outside our home planet for sustenance. If we venture to other life sustaining planets and encounter a lifeform that is competition to us, we'll probably kill them. Eat or die. Sad but true. I wonder if Battlestar Galactica will ever become a reality.
