(only skimmed through the thread, so if this post isn't quite on-topic with regards to the point of the thread, MY BAD NIGGAZ

First car: '86 VL Commodore. Not a horrible car to start out on, though I'm sure we're all aware of the stereotypical P-plater getting around in a manual VL Commy
Second car: '96 R33 GTS-T Skyline. Was a great car, dead stock except for lowered springs and fkn homo 18" chromies (ok I'll admit, they were as perfect as chrome plated wheels on a Skyline will get. Didn't mind them :D). Unfortunately a mere 3 months after purchase some cunts decided to steal the thing from the carpark at the mall I was working in, putting it sideways up a gutter only 15 minutes later. Bye bye Skyline

fairly well standard when I bought it, aside from a buttload of OEM GT-R parts (wheels, interior, spoiler, anything that would be a direct fit really). Engine was dead stock when I got it, though by the time I gave up on the thing after hitting a kangaroo, it was putting down a smooth 295kw at the wheels on a mere 16psi (turbo was good for 22-24psi). Incredibly fun to drive when it wasn't fucking me around haha.
Current car: Bright-fucken-orange '12 VW Caddy Van, 1.6L TDi 5sp manual. Everyone asks what I do for work assuming it's my work car haha, get odd looks when I tell them I work in IT sitting on my ass all day and that it's actually my own private vehicle LOL. Bought this car when the above Skyline was defected...the circumstances of the defect along with the extensive engine and suspension modifications meant the Skyline was off the road for quite a while, so I went out and got this van for something practical. Insane fuel economy at ~1000km to ~57L around town, as well as having driven 1155km on 57L from Canberra all the way to the Gold Coast...wut. Really bloody handy for accommodation when I've driven up to Sydney for a weekend (like for Defqon 1) or down to the coast on a whim. Also helped a few mates move house with it, along with moving myself. Fit everything I owned in the back aside from my mattress :D buuuuuuut it's boring as FUCK to drive
When I sold the Skyline (for barely a fraction of what it owed me...), I used that money to go out and get myself an '08 Honda CBR600RR. Love the thing, though it's a different kind of fun to the car. Requires effort to enjoy (putting gear on, then effectively muscling it all over the road just for a bit of a rush....plus risking death every time haha). No way I'm getting rid of it for anything other than another bike, though I really do need a sporty car again just for that effortless enjoyment - even if it's not the same level as a bike or my old Skyline.
Next car: Thinking around mid year I'll assess how much I actually use the van as a utility vehicle, and decide whether it's worth getting rid of and picking myself up a '14 VW Golf R (unless there's something better for the same price range by then). Really sick of manuals, so definitely would go the DSG...plus it's got some balls, unlike my van which actually has the same factory power output as the motorbike (75kw LOL)
So yeah
