im finding it really hard to sleep while cutting, if i do fall asleep it take 1-2 hours and i frequently wake up...what can i do? from what ive googled this seems like a common occurrence for people but they have no fix except eat more or take drugs

You're probably fucking starving. Cuts can take a toll, but watching the fat come off day by day make me, personally, sleep like a baby.

Try a combination of Valarian Root, 5-HTP, and Melatonin.

If that doesn't knock you out let us know. I got other non-narcotic remedies.

Take a hefty dose of Melatonin and Valerian, not too much though, because then it could give you nightmares and night sweats.

Also, carbs generally help you sleep. Carbs are comfort food and they help your body relax and stimulate your brain by sending out 'happy, relaxing hormones' - that's the easy version, it's actually a lot more complicated. If you're just subtracting calories, you won't get as good of results and results as fast as you could if you cycled your carbs and had some light cardiovascular training in there too. Don't eat as many carbs in the mornings for breakfast. Eat some good proteins and healthy fats, go for a couple mile run at a consistent jog and then have another little protein meal. Once you hit lunch time ish, THEN have some carbs from viable sources, pasta, breads, potatoes, stuff like that along with veggies and lean meats. Do the same for dinner and then have another little just carb meal before bed, maybe even just a bowl of cheerios or something. That will help you sleep and help your body from going into a catabolic state for a couple hours.

My personal opinion, go for macronurtient goals over caloric goals. It'll help a looooot more. Also, add in a bit of cardio and keep those carbs in check, it'll help out your sleep and help you lose fat too! Keep it up man!

Try Marley's Mellow Mood Green Tea it has all types of herbs to help you relax and fal asleep. Works for my giraffe at least, when he isnt too fucked up on coke. And they sell it at most health stores like whole foods and such.

Get a script for Rozerem....I had similar issues a long while back, and the shit works wonders. It's not addictive...it's like a super potent form of Melatonin. I see other guys using benzos to help with sleeping issues, but benzos are highly addictive. And if you get hooked on benzos, coming off them can be your worst nightmare. Trust me....I know. I've been on benzos for over 15 years...has some PTSD when I was younger over something I'd rather not get into....and now I'm hooked for life. Oh, and Rozerem takes a while to start working...your body needs a little time to adjust. The stuff is safe to use. When I get on the tren train, I use Rozerem (my benzos) and some chronic before bed. Good luck.

In my experiences, the kind/strain of smoke plays a factor. Some strains give me energy and don't let me sleep....while others mellow me out and let me sleep. When it's around, I often look for dark or black hash. That shit puts me asleep real fast where lighter or blonde hash gets me kinda wired. If the grass doesn't help....I'm telling ya, give Rozerem a shot. It's safe to use, non addictive, and doesn't leave you hung over or droggy when you wake up. Unlike benzos and opiates can. Good luck bro.

trust me u dont need to tell me about weed lol, a good indica knocks me out but weed is a last resort, i have a long history of recreational drug abuse and something that makes u hungry isnt the best for dieting, at least not for me

What time of day are you lifting? Working out at night is often better for my focus, stamina and ability to have eye candy at the gym, but it really messes with my sleep schedule.

Try working out early in the morning?

Doxylamine succinate is the best OTC sleep med, in my opinion.
well i lift from 11pm-12 but i dont go to bed till 6am so it seems like thats enough time to unwind...i don't have time in the day to lift because of work so i do it right after i get home
