Can't Register With 29 Gauge... why?

So, I almost always use 29g and they have never really been any issue with me (except since I ended up screwing up a lot of veins because of a long story (not using 29g). They are healing, but the other ones.. I don't understand.

Why am I not having blood fill into the syringe? They are Tremuolo* and 29g, 11c 1/2.

It was always soooo very easy to use them, but now I am absolutely screwed unless I figure this out since I have 100 of them..

Whenever I hit a vein, or something, drops of blood come out, but they don't like fill the syringe like they are supposed to, and I know they are supposed to because the one thing I have is 4-FA which will BURN very bad if I end up trying to shoot just a TINY bit after blood droops come in.

So what am I doing wrong that I should be doing? am I not pressing INTO the vein hard enough? (I always do it pretty slow so I don't jam into a nerve or whatever else.

I have the needle opening facing opposite the vein, i.e if it was on the side of my arm, I would have the opening facing away.

What othe tips can you guys give me? Is there better spots that arms/hands that aren't completely obvious or dumb? I would prefer as many tips and help rather than a different spot.

Thank you very much (and I DO KNOW that these syringes I have work because once in a while I will get it to fill with blood so I know it's good. The problem with the tiny bits of blood is coagulation, causing me to have to use another syringe all together.

I hope people please help because I destroy my arm from this not working

Maybe the veins you are trying to inject are collapsed? I don't know otherwise.

You said you have the needle facing away. Not sure what that means, but rule of thumb is needle should point towards the heart.
Is this what you're doing? If so, Than I donno what to say.
But if your aiming away from your heart, that could be why you can't register.

I think he means that the hole in needle is facing upwards and that's how it should be.

OP, you seem to be doing everything right, so I'm almost sure that the vein you use is collapsed. You really need to switch veins when you inject regularly, otherwise you'll fuck up your vein for good.

Vasoconstriction can be a cunt, the vein could also be obstructed. You need to recover most likely. If these are needles you arnt use to then thats another problem which will cause more damage. I use the BD 29G, terumo are generally easier to register with.

Way too small IMO. Every single time I would slam with an insulin needle, that plunger would stop an fclog without remorse. 3mL will be much easier to work and won't slide in like air. You will have control so even less chance of slipping the needle. Also, vasoconstriction if you're dehydrated can be a factor. Oh, and what are you slamming? Meth tends to thick if the ratio is off. If you hit the arm crooks, you may think I'm crazy, but 25 gauge one inch 3mL is perfect for thise two large arm veins. One inch because I like to know I can take more if need be. I usually take 3/4 it in, and the gauge is not huge like everyone thinks. I'm telling you, it is so much easier to plave and it doesn't move nearly as easy as a tin y point. The barrel? NOt sure why, but other countries all use my type of syringes which are so misunderstood out here in America. Eventually if meth is shot, you will need 3mL at most to dose. I wouldn't get my dose in 1cc nor through the needle. Sometimes thick doses take some pressure on 25 gauge. Not sure how they manage to not move up to my syringe. IV users scared of needles? Mine, yeah which is odd. I prefer the medical syringe look myself and the needle is elegant. I am also a freak lol

Shiiit, you don't have reach so damn far back since it's thicker and easier to maneuver. Also, they are detahcbale hence being able to draw up without any risk to the needle. Just my advice, and no, 25 gauge dimater does not fuck up your veins if you always use a new one and insert it correctly. Doresn't hurt, sometimes it can sting if the dose it strong. But nothing bad. I don't even notice as I'm about to open my vein. It jjust goes in with a slight push and you van feel when you are in your vein. I couond't feel shit with insulins. You do not want to use 26 gauge for 3ml since it's too small for the vapcity. 25 one inch is perfefct. Ohh, I suggest Terumo brand, DO NOT pusrchase Nipro brand because hub has too much dead space and it makes your blood gather inside and it's a bitch. I just ordered Terumo's for an ass load, but they are gtreat. BD and Nipro are shitty 3mL sets. Exel is an okay subsititue..hope that helps because I'm right about all this if you are an avid ditch hitter.

Yea maybe you're going in too deep. Try going in at more of an angle so it's not going in as deep.

The veins are damaged, they need rest. Or you're technique is absolutely terrible. You need to use a vein you've never used before, to find out which.

And I agree with SB, insulin syringes fucking suck(IDK about 25G though!)
