So, I almost always use 29g and they have never really been any issue with me (except since I ended up screwing up a lot of veins because of a long story (not using 29g). They are healing, but the other ones.. I don't understand.
Why am I not having blood fill into the syringe? They are Tremuolo* and 29g, 11c 1/2.
It was always soooo very easy to use them, but now I am absolutely screwed unless I figure this out since I have 100 of them..
Whenever I hit a vein, or something, drops of blood come out, but they don't like fill the syringe like they are supposed to, and I know they are supposed to because the one thing I have is 4-FA which will BURN very bad if I end up trying to shoot just a TINY bit after blood droops come in.
So what am I doing wrong that I should be doing? am I not pressing INTO the vein hard enough? (I always do it pretty slow so I don't jam into a nerve or whatever else.
I have the needle opening facing opposite the vein, i.e if it was on the side of my arm, I would have the opening facing away.
What othe tips can you guys give me? Is there better spots that arms/hands that aren't completely obvious or dumb? I would prefer as many tips and help rather than a different spot.
Thank you very much (and I DO KNOW that these syringes I have work because once in a while I will get it to fill with blood so I know it's good. The problem with the tiny bits of blood is coagulation, causing me to have to use another syringe all together.
I hope people please help because I destroy my arm from this not working
