Fuck off theyre not, teenagers these days LOVE drugs, well the ones in sydney at least, even the conservative ones support the legalization of cannabis.

If anyone is eager to find out whether the trial is anything more than a stoner's pipe dream, why not contact the Nimbin Police? Surely everyone working there would know if such a trial was about to occur.
 
^ that would probably be the best idea.... I will be doing this before i go running down to nimbin, id be so pissed if this was all a big bullshit story.... but hey, nimbin?? ime u can just go there and smoke weed anywhere anyway (apart from in front of the cops). i would welcome change of cannabis law anytime anyway :)
 
I simply don't understand how a town would have legal rights to do something that the state doesn't all follow in suit. But hey... I'm no lawyer. I whole heartadly agree with P_D's post and would love someone put an end to all this business.

I rang them last night and its total crap. They have had several calls relating to it haha...1 guy didn't know but the other bloke was like "Holy shit... again!?"

And procedded to tell his fellow officer..

ITS BULLSHIT


A blind monkey could have figured that one out lol! ITS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN IN THIS COUNTRY OK PEOPLE...GIVE UP THE DREAM!!!

It doesn't fit in with the grand scheme of things... the agenda's set forward to our gov by higher powers.

I had to face it, now its your turn!

Can you please post your experience up on the HEMP Embassy forum in the Nimbin trial thread? This is very important information that needs to be circulated.
 
well i have been lurking around this thread for weeks now and took phasedancer advice and rang nimbin police. the first officer i spoke to did not know about it at all, i was put on hold and the active senior Sargent told me he had seen fliers in cafes and heard about it and lismore and nimbin police will be doing all they can to stop it. im guessing its more lismore police and the TBTF detectives. its illegal as a food, a drug, a shampoo, a fuel, and an incense stick so matter what they try to pull its not going to last a minute. from what he can think is because of a lot of big busts by TBTF lately of big long term growers all around north nsw the hemp embassy and other related cannabis culture shop and buildings there are a bit low on cash and its just a stunt to cash up to keep them in business as a lot of events have been smaller each year because of police, and some events not held at all and heroin is right back up there as the second drug of choice so cannabis sales are low. i did find it funny how ever that he did seem to blab on a bit in a very relaxed tone not your average angry cop voice and giggled a few times!

Can you please post your experience up at the HEMP embassy forum in the Nimbin Trial thread? This is very important information that needs to be circulated to people who are planning to attend.

It sounds like a lot of people are going to be arrested/harassed by cops as a result of this. I hope it doesn't impact on the Mullaway man and all the good work he is doing.

Gees, is it really that hard to understand this is a piece of political activism? Of course pot has not been legalised in Nimbin. The organisers are doing a little bit of Ghandi style "Be the change you want to see in the world." This is the idea that you act as if the change you want to see is already here. It's not that hard to understand is it?
