I just don't think it's a good idea for teenagers to be using any drugs while their brains are developing.
I've already said, I agree with this.
The shift has been towards weed, until the 90's predominantly in the UK people smoked hash, imported hash, which had much higher THC content than weed grown indoors now. I guess it became more commercially viable at that point for the smugglers/kingpins/overlords to turn to growing indoors in controlled environments in UK/EU countries.
All of the strongest weeds I've smoked have been from old landrace strains, bred from seeds collected in the 60's/70's, often by outdoor growers from US/UK/EU.........all of today's weed has been bred from old landrace strains, none of today's strains have been genetically modified, just fine tuned through selective breeding...
EDIT>>>>>and this selective breeding, in most cases, has not been with the aim of producing higher THC levels, but to develop a reliable, stocky, consistent, high yielding plant...in many, if not most cases, modern hybrids will have lower THC content than the original breeding stock...(assuming the stock plants have been grown with high levels of care indoors)...a lot of the bigger breeders *cough*greenhouse*cough* just cross anything to create a new named strain buzzword...and then its all about the hype, not the potency....
I DO accept that back then, most weed that was available to most weed smokers was generally pollinated bushweed....but again, most people in EU/UK would have been smoking hash, of a higher THC content. I don't know what the figures would look like in US where more people smoked weed, generally Mexican bushweed.....
I've kind of lost my thread, fucking stoned innit.
Pffft ... My Blue Cheese better be stronger than 11% thc for £10 a g!
It won't be.
The world is not straight.
has anyone got a jpg to illustrate this?
