Stimulants can you inject Lisdexamfetamine

Hi there 'i just would love to no if you can inject

Lisdexamfetamine as it is water soluble ? thanks guys as it would be a great help as a mate of mine wants to do it n im just worried it to cuase harm to him.. cheers

Lisdexamfetamine

It’s a prodrug meaning it has to go through first pass metabolism. It may have activity on its own. Idk. But as far as I know it needs to go through the liver before it converts to dextro amphetamine?

vyvanse, lisdexamfetamine, is a prodrug for d-amphetamine which requires an enzyme found in the blood for conversion

this conversion is limited by enzyme kinetics so even if a large bolus is given through IV it will still take over an hour to reach maximum d-amphetamine concentration

Iirc lisdex in metabolised in the bloodstream rather than the liver so injecting would probably work but not increase speed of onset or intensity.

I wouldn't try it though. Most of what's in the capsule is binder which nobody wants to be injecting.

The absolute oral bioavailability of lisdexamfetamine is close to
100% (96.4% of radioactivity was recovered in a human 0-120hr urine collection).
Bioequivalence was shown for the fed versus fasting state. The bioavailability of
lisdexamfetamine clearly meets the biopharmaceutics classification system (BCS) criteria for
a highly permeable drug

so injecting would probably work but not increase speed of onset or intensity.
From the research I did before requesting the switch to vyvanse from Ritalin IR, I remember reading about the ways certain users could or might try to bypass the "pro drug release mechanism".

And the quote above ledas to the one below

Summary

Taken orally as prescribed gives the strongest, best distribution/cleaving of the lysine to release the right amount of dex at the right pace and intervals.

Snorting/injecting or any other method would still get a weakened effect, but in the same breakdown method the design of the drug is formulated for regardless of ROA.

An even amount of dex delivered into the system working for 10+ hours at the right strength. Every time, 100% the most impressive formulation I have seen. For a "single dose" taken in the early morning once a day.

Just to be clear not every day is " full of roses" and sometimes one feels lethargic even on the meds, but with the right amount of sleep every night this can be avoided to the point of it being a non issue.
