can one explain mexican skinheads to me?

I'm black/white and I live in Ca, have lived in LA and currently live next to Santa Ana. As a female I don't have much of these issues. Historically speaking, it's all about a competition for resources...isn't everything? Does anyone remember covenants on housing? Back in the day in LA - much everywhere but I'm gonna stick with LA/OC - on various blocks when a. Home was sold the buyer was in a covenant that said that they could not sell to a nonwhite. This places all POC (people of color) at a disadvantage for housing. Add drugs and turf and it gets crazy. There is a very good documentary on the history of the Crips that would be good to watch if you're interested in this shit. My dad was in gangs and what not. All good now after a 12 year stint but I've always been interested in this stuff. Also know that when it comes to resources people will let go of the superficial racism, my dad was a crip but worked with la eme in SD...with the rest of them. He was not abnormal.

you are right on point about evrything you said about "The West" and Mexicans and then how they kind of try to follow the white mans tactics. I know this for a fact because i'm born and raised in "The West".
 
Wow that seems like an interesting story i just have one question. you said you are black and white right? and you said your dad was working with La Ema in San Diego so i'm assuming your pappy is white ? and your mammy black then ?
 
That's odd. I've never met any Mexicano/Chicano/Latino/Hispanic person that called themselves a skinhead even the ones in the southwest are not like this and do not use this term.

I'm moving this to drug culture from NASADD, since you did mention people and drug use.
