CA, San Francisco - 10.02.2004 ***LOVE PARADE***

i should prolly say that is isnt a meetup like private party style cause that would be a no no on the board. if anyones interested in meeting up email me. im working on setting up a little something something to help us figure out plans, maybe a ubb board.
 
ive had several people approach me via AIM about attending this event. and since my birthday is on the 1st, and my dad is getting married in october, definitely a possibility.

i ran it by Trancey and she said she was down, as well. w00t!

let's see how Starscape tears into my bank account first, and i'll plan accordingly then after.

there are going to be djs on floats. culminating in a 1-2 days dj filled partying event. outdoors and in clubs. it will prolly be late after hours as well at teh end up. so im assuming from 9am-6am one day and maybe liek club events all teh next day and night.

hmmm. im looking into it ;) there may be a way through dance safe to get some of our friends to spin on that float. I sent an inquiry to my old boss. hope all goes well! And kevin you know this is gonna rock! damn im so excited about this shit! hhehe. alright back to work on a ubb board
 
Not to burst anybody's bubble about this but I was reading in the SF weekly that they haven't even gotten permits for this or anything.

I remember they tried to have love parade in the middle of nowhere long island a few years back but no one was interested so it fell through. Not that i'm saying that would happen here in SF.

Yeah that would be TIGHT if this happens...and I only go to school like 4 blocks away so yeah...i'll be there IF it goes down.

I think it was the Zen Festival, not the Love Parade that they were trying to throw up in NY. But like all party people, we are constantly broke and we do wait til the last week to purchase our tickets, but yeah thats the reason that event fell through up in the NY area. The interest was definitely there for allot of people, but I remember the cost being high, so allot of us were waiting as it got closer to purchase our tickets inside of doing it in advance.
But yeah I sure hope everything is well planned & all permits set for this event because it will definitely rock the EDM scene here in the U.S.
