I tell ya tho, I'm a little leary of San Fran.

I will wear my college republican T Shirts, is that ok?

Second question, if I meet a chick named "Coco" that has a hairy upper lip, should I be worried?

Which day of the week is opposite day in San Fran? This will be important in case the following happens:
Coco "You want to do it with me?"
Me: "NO thanks"
Coco: "nice" *kisses me*

IS it too touristy to order Rice a Roni while out? Cuz I really like Rice A Roni, especially the Spanish blend.

If you find yourself to be an angry drunkard, and/or uncomfortable being around homosexuals, you probably will have to muster a lot of tolerance to enjoy yourself at Love Parade. Leave the hippies alone and they'll do the same courtesy to you.

Really though, San Francisco is one of the most beautiful cities around...a place most worthy to visit here in the States.

Im gunna try to make it. I have family all over SImi and Leona Valley that I havent seen in 5 years. I used to visit them all the time. So I'm gunna knock all this out in one trip as long as I have a job within the next week or two.
 
Also....Kings are my fav NBA team, but I've never been to a home game of theres in the past 6 or 7 years I've been a fan. How far location wise is SAc Town? I'd love to see my team play live.

what types of acts typically play at these things? Bands and DJ's, just bands, just DJ's...is it a gay pride event? or just an even in SAn Fran so it naturally ends up having a large gay presence.

I dont care much, just very curious at what I'd be getting myself into here.

I live in Sac- and I hate the Kings...hehe. I'm from socal, sooo it's all about the Lakers..... Anyhoo- we're like an hour and a 1/2 (more if the traffic is bad) from SF. :)

If you like your house deep as fuck then SF is the place. Local talent like Miguel Migs, Mark Farina, and Kaskade to mave a few.

j22, i also live in sac (and love the kings), but i'm not sure if there will even be any proper preseason games happening by october 2.

i'll be living in SF by the time this event rolls around, but i'm down to head back to sac to check out a game if there are actually any happening by then. sacramento is only 90 minutes away by car and ~ 2 hours away by train or bus, so it's really no big deal.
 
All you cats who are saying you're gonna go better not back out because it would be a huge disappointment for me. I wasn't able to go to Starscape, so since this event is in my backyard (30 mins. away) it'd be the prime oppurtunity to meet people I've wanted to for a while now.

And j22, I've been to plenty of parties in SF and there's no larger number of homosexuals running around than any other rave/party. And you can talk shit about Bonds all you want, I'm right there with it.

And, uhhhhhhh, WARRIORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Every time I come online I find out about like five more people I get to see at this thing... words can't even describe how excited I am!! It's a city I've always wanted to visit, and seeing so many east coast heads out here on the west coast is gonna be one surreal reunion for me. I can't wait for October to get here! .......but yeah, like Dennis said, if you all bail out last minute prepare for a wrath like nothing you've ever experienced to be unleashed. ;) :D

I most definitely will not be flaking on this party. I'm already saving for this joyous occasion. I'll go by myself if need be. I'm sure i'll find some random old homeless guy to keep me company...
