j22, i also live in sac (and love the kings), but i'm not sure if there will even be any proper preseason games happening by october 2.

i'll be living in SF by the time this event rolls around, but i'm down to head back to sac to check out a game if there are actually any happening by then. sacramento is only 90 minutes away by car and ~ 2 hours away by train or bus, so it's really no big deal.

To explain why I'm a Kings fan from New England.

I was a Kings fan long before they acquired Webber and launched themselves I was a huge Mitch Richmond fan as a kid, while he was in college and in the NBA. When the Kings traded him for Webber in the early-mid 90's I was crushed. (I still have a small jersey of his I got in 6th grade). Thanksfully, Richmond fizzled out as soon as the trade, but I always stuck with the Kings. Big time fan, and would love to see them at the home court. I have seen them live when they play the Celtics, three times now. All were in high school however, so it has been a while.
 
I dont know if they are ready though......but i do feel the need to return the favor of all the west coasters gracing us with their presence this weekend.

that and i havent been to the west coast....ever......hmmm
 
well if i decide to go, the decision will be made soon so i can book a cheap(est) flight. I will let you know, we can most likely get a really good deal if we get a package together
