buying codeine in aus?

i usually just munch ibu/codeine tablets but i need at least 20-25 to feel the codeine and usually just feel nausea and sick. bad for my liver i know, but i do it once a month or less

Your liver will be fine, but that amount of ibuprofen could do some damage to your stomach which is probably what is causing your nausea. :\

hm from the bit more reading i've done here i see people still get nausea from ingestion after doing CWE?

i always put the bad feelings down to not doing an extraction...
i've never had anything other than 20mg oxycodone once (amongst a handful of other shit though) so have nothing to compare it to, but im guessing if i dont get anything in terms of a 'high' or even pain relief off 20-25 tablets, is it worth doing the CWE?

i munched some friday and although i didnt sleep or eat much this weekend, still felt fair sick few hours ago which has been the worst i've felt (last time i had any codeine was before december), so dont really want to go through the same process even after a CWE.

is there any way to reduce nausea and what not if its still felt in a similar fashion after the extraction?

Id say ur getting nausea from the codeine itself as its not uncommon that people who have zero tolerance to opiates get sick. I strongly advise u to tr sum travelcalm (the original ones) Red box and that will make the nausea go away.

Did you feel the 20mg of oxycodone? Depending on which comparison table you go off, that would be the equivalent of 300 - 400 mgs of codeine.

I'd definitely do a CWE with that many tablets, stomach ulcers are not fun.

Travacalm has the added bonus of potentiating the codeine, and it should stop the nausea completely.

lol had a box of red travacalms and same amount of tablets after a few beers and it was fucking epic, still had the same amount of nausea, i have a tolerance to phenergan, so it doesn't do anything unless above 100mg, still, neither helps with the nausea and sick feeling i get.

i get the same nausea with paracetamol tablets at the same amount so guess its the codeine, but was just curious if this was eased at all with the CWE as either ibu or paracetamol could cause similar symptoms i guess.
i def dont get much if any feeling of a high, i first had 8 tablets first time i tried them and i was liking that and many of the times after that, but i noticed even on the second time i needed 14 to feel the same effect and was never the same since.

cant comment on the oxy, i had 4mg xanax, 40mg baclofen and clonidine and a beer with the oxys and was like i'd had a charge, so would be very hard to comment on the effect of the oxy alone, no idea what it did lol.

Maybe you could try some nausetil (prochlorperazine), that worked great for the nausea I got from Champix.

The thing with codeine is that every person metabolizes it differently, so equivelancy charts are never going to be exactly right for everyone.

I have read that alcoholics, something that I struggle with myself, have enlarged livers, therefore they have more CYP2D6 enzymes which is what converts the codeine into morphine inside your body. Some people are CYP2D6 deficient, so they don't feel anything at all from high doses of codeine.

^ I've got a paper on enzymes and metabolism that mentions the link between alcoholism and increased enzyme levels... can't remember though if that applies to other enzymes such as CYP3A4 though, which would metabolize the morphine quicker.

I'd be interested in finding out if that were the case if it's not too much trouble. I can't find a source for where I read that.

^ The paper is called: Clinically Significant Cytochrome
P450 Drug Interactions

And the authors are: Lorna Goshman, BS, CSPI, Jeffrey Fish, PharmD,
and Kristie Roller, Doctor of Pharmacy Candidate

^ That's cool, I would have sent a link but can't remember where I got it from... it's a little bit of a read but if you are interested in that side of pharmacokinetics then it's worth it. :)

I want to a D. Pharm one day... Dr. Blonde (D. Pharm, BLMOD).

^ Still reading..

I'm sure with your knowledge and passion for the subject you'll get there. Just one more title to go.

Brought a pack of 24 panadeine in NZ. Was asked a lot of questions and had my ID checked. Seems a bit bs.

He entered my information into the PC. I wonder what they do with it and who accesses it.

They are good for when you have a cold / flu though.

NSW seems they dont give a shit what you buy, never had a label on mine from NSW chemists. except terry white. they are tightarses.. and slow and expensive

man most of the time i just want to buy a pack to legitimately stop my neck hurting and headaches but i just feel suss as anyway even though im probably not going to be taking any more than the recommended dosage haha just from reading this stuff so often back when i bought them for other reasons

Weird stuff. I guess because they know me?
I can buy 2 bottles at a time. is that against the law?

No you can't buy 2 items at the same time that both contain codeine. The ridiculous thing is, You can't buy 2x 18 packs of panadeine, even though you can buy 1 40 pack of panadeine.

I discovered that when the 18packs were almost normal half price so I thought ok i'll buy 2x.. But no, you can't... unless this pharmacist was just a fucking idiot and didn't understand the legislation.

yeah ok,
-crush tablets
-mix with warm tap water, around 2-4ml per tablet
-place product in freezer till real cold
-filter product through Harris 4-6 cups brown filters

Just remembering back to Chemistry class & the experiments we did with differential solubility filtration. Slow cooling is always preferable to rapid cooling when wishing to form the largest possible crystals. This would aid in having the best possible filtration. Does it really matter from a health point of view? Don't know. maybe not. I guess the more tablets you used the more it would be of importance.
