Misc Butalbital high ?

You're thinking of Fioricet w/ codeine which is one pill with all ingredients in one pill.
It would be rare to find someone rxd a barb and an opiate in two different pills together as nowadays benzos are used instead in those situations
(Example of something very unlikely: Phenobarbital and Oxycodone Rx'd simultaneously
Example of something more likely: Clonazepam and Oxycodone Rx'd simultaneously)

Mine are the ones with caffeine, being an opiate addict I wish they had codeine but since I am trying to get off opiate I guess this is actually better.
 
Well I just took two, will report back with result. I am hoping they are like benzos because I used love benzos before I became horribly addicted to them .
 
Dang these things are strong, I took another half pill and I am already feeling more messed up than I wanted to be. Holy crap, I can't believe this drug I has been around all this time and I never bothered to try it. I wouldn't say it is super recreational or anything but definitely useful as a come down aid, social enhancer or just generally to take the edge off. The closest thing I'd compare it to would be having a drink or two, but with a better body feeling. I think one pill, maybe with a slug of whiskey on top of it, would be sufficient for the future relaxing. Just wish there was no caffeine. I feel like the caffeine is preventing me from enjoying the pleasant relaxation. Maybe thats why its not controlled. Maybe If I built up my caffeine tolerance I could enjoy it more, I am very sensitive to caffeiene because I dont drink coffee or even cola.

Ok I am a fan of this drug although it doesnt seem to last that long. I just want to knw, there is no simple way to remove the caffeine is there? I bet without the caffeine it would be a lot more enjoyable to take a couple of these at night before bed, especially in opiate wd.
 
I get Fioricet w codeine, klonopin, endocet 10, and oxycotin 20 from my dr. If I take 2 Fioricet for a severe migraine, then I get pretty loopy, especially if I take the fioricet every 4 hrs like prescribed.

As I've said I know 2 people on both, one in the same pill, one with separate pills.

Yes, benzos have replaced barbs for most thing but there are conditions treated by barbs that benzos can not treat. So I think they'll be around for awhile.
Benzos don't treat migraines, or tension headaches.
Barbs also don't have all the annoying side effects of triptan drugs (which if you've ever taken triptans for a migraine, you'd know why barbs are preferred-- they work much better and with few side effects... I can't even type when I take my triptans)

Well I'm pretty crazy about caffeine and have a huge tolerance so the amount of caffeine in those pills doesn't do much but enhance the effect of the barb a bit in terms of painkilling.
 
I guess Ill just have to get used to the caffeine, so far I am in love with this drug though. I am detoxing from opiates today, but thanks to these things and kratom, the day has gone by like a breeze. This just makes even more disappointed I will probably never get a chance to try seconal, pentobarbital or qualudes. It seems like there are no more great downer/knockout drugs around, which is a real shame. At least whiskey and these things are available though.

Well, many people find a high in it and use it for recreational purposes...sure some may people may same the same about seroquel, but lets be honest barbs aren't that petty.
 
Agree that is VERY Unsafe To Mix With Benzos Regardless Of Dosage Or Tolerance TO Either One.
 
How long does it take to get addicted to these? I have been taking them three days in a row now since discovering them and just keeping liking them more and more.

Made a thread about this a few days ago.
The consensus was that it depends how often and how much you take but with everyday use of a decent dosage maybe 2ish months for "minor" physical addiction.

I've taken almost every day for about 30 days and 2-3 days per week for about 45ish days before that-- stopped a few days ago for health and tolerance break, and have been experiencing a light withdrawal. Feeling uncomfortable in the fingers (like restless legs but for fingers), irritability, and anxiety.
But it's not all too bad, and nothing compared to minor opiate withdrawal.
However it is unpleasant and makes me want to take some.

But they are a great feeling drug and definitely addictive psychologically in addition to physically. Probably tied with weed for the second most psychologically addictive drug I've tried (opiates being number one)-- which is just about everything.


I'd recommend not taking them everyday for more than 12 days or so, and not to take regularly for more than a month or you'll probably start getting hooked.

My plan is basically to do a week on, two weeks off for the rest of the time to avoid unpleasant feelings.
 
I cant believe how fun these are and that they aren't more abused, they are as good as benzos imo.

IMO way fucking better then benzos.

They actually have real euphoria.

After being prescribed benzos for years one thing I learned: benzos suck.
 
i didnt even know barbituates were even being prescribed to anyone other than as a last resort. Thought they fell out of favour after benzos came along
 
You can absolutely get high on butalbital. However, any sort of speedball is fairly unwise.
Which is funny, because there is often 30mg of caffeine in the pills.

150mg isn't much with a 6mg kpin tolerance. If you're sensitive to caffeine like I am you'll find that you just feel spun the fuck out (in a bad way)
