haha ohh boy u missed out..sorry! it was the best set up i've ever seen! the lightin was totally awesome and trippy and to set it off the music was great! u'll have to save up for when it rolls round again!
 
Mealz is right, you missed out on an awesome night.

In all honesty, I thought the turnout was a little bit poor - I believe there was a turnout of around 2,000 people (I heard that the whole underage thing, coupled with the 'city' venue turned a few of the old schoolers off this event) - there were a few points in the night where I thought some areas, especially the hardcore room, were a little 'empty'.

Apart from that and then interrogation process at the entry point to the rave (scanners, bag/pocket searches, frisking, etc - the kind of stuff us Brisbane folk are not accustomed to ;) ) it was an awesome night.

The jumping castle was heaps of fun, the music went off and it wasn't as weird raving in the convention centre as I expected it to be. The laser shows were absolutely fantastic, I'm a little disappointed I didn't get a few more shots of them.

i agree with you foxy kel! the hardcore room did get empty near the end but that because the main room was pumpin out some sick tunes! it went off! if you wanted to check out some more photos go to this link..i got it off the mayhem site...some good photos of the lights...some a big dodge but not bad!! http://www.trance-exchange.net/images/mayhem/

^^ lol - there's a photo of me on there, walking along with my arm around some complete stranger - I think she was the girl who hurt her arm on the jumping castle... classic.

Whoever took those photos has a lot to learn about photogaphy, though :\
 
hahaha i reckon! nice! i'll have to have another look... i didn't get a chance to go on the jumpin castle which was a lil disappointing but always next time! i had enuff fun just trippin out on those lights haha can't wait for the next rave!
 
I had (surprisingly, because I wasn't expecting to) a brilliant time. Being the old schooler that I am I loved the music and haven't been to a rave in a while so loved seeing everyone dressed up etc. I loved having enough room to dance and ended up dancing pretty much all night. Plus everyone was so nice.

Was trashed though. Heh. Much fun!
 
Was fucken awesome. Very friendly environment, good sound and lighting, pretty good music (thought there was too much dutch hardcore/gabber :() Was off my face for most of the night and thoroughly enjoyed it, would of been better with a bigger croud though :)

Yeah, it was so much fun! Didn't think I'd enjoy the hardcore music so much...normally like trance and psytrance..

I just thought it was really bad that you weren't allowed chewing gum in!! Pretty bad for everybody's jaws! Thank goodness they missed my packet of PK or my friends and i would have got lockjaw hehe.
 
Yeah I was there Kelle! I had a look for you guys cause I thought I would definitely run into you. I think I saw one of the guys that was at Tiesto but I didn't think he'd remember me plus ... I got there late (oneish I think) and I was pretty fucked.

^^I was there, wandering around in a glowing tiara! You probably saw mongie (kinda chubby, young guy in red?) and if it wasn't him then it was Narc, but I don't think you met Narc at Tiesto.
 
Kelle - it was a young, dark haired guy in a red t-shirt.

My housemate knows some of the people who were involved in the organising/promotion of Mayhem and they want to know people's thoughts on the night.
