Brisbane: Mayhem - Convention Centre - 26/06/2004

I don't know, I'm still tossing it up. The fact that it's not in the valley it's creepy. Our music and crazy antics belong to the valley life! Not mixed in with the drunkedness of the city! If it's a go'er, it's going to be an interesting night, that's for damn sure. Lot of DJ's I haven't heard of before, and a bit of taste-testing (excuse the pun), never hurt anyone! :)
 
Yeah ^^^ should be at the Arena. Its too weird being at the Convention Centre. I only ever go the Valley so will be a new experience for moi.

I might still be going though since friends are. And I haven't been to a rave in ages either.
 
Yeah I will be going, I just *squirms* can't help myself! Plus there are a lot of people going I know, plus any opportunity, is always a good opportunity! :)

I just got to get my butt into gear and get a ticket, considering it's a fairly large scale event, I'm not too worried about not getting one too soon. I mean it's over a month away!

It's just so creepy, a rave in the city. Gosh damnit, it's unethical! The amount of token drinkers you get at a rave just about does it for me, now the city? Oh dear. Well each to their own, I'll be as happy as pie anyhow, so I probably wont notice! ;)

this event is gonna be fully mad! i really can't wait! i'm only a newbie to the whole rave scene so i've only been to one rave - re-animator and i had one of the best times of my life so i can't wait! mayhem should go off! i've invited like everyone i know so should be a good nite! i mean wot a great way to end a semester of dodgy uni and exams!

Can you buy tickets at the door?

My bank statement was a bit of a disappointment. So I might not have enough money, it all depends on if I get a job or not.
 
JustinTime: Yeah you can, they will be selling tickets on the door. Mayhem are releasing 5000 pre-sold tickets and have sold roughly about 1000 already. If the place you buy yours doesn't have any tickets, then you can guarantee in the next day or so there will be more there! :)

I'm there. That's about all I can say. This should be absolutly huge, Brisbane has never seen anything like it.

The biggest question for me is transport, I could take the city cat, train (least likely), drive, or even walk if I'm feeling energetic. I wouldn't be suprised if there's a few dogs about considering what's been happening at Brunswick St station recently so a cautious approach as usual would be wise. I think I might do a quick reconnaissance trip around the venue and public transport spots early in the evening to make sure. I might even post up if anythings about before heading in properly.

Nothing like virgin stomping territory!

startin to freak! dont hav my tickets yet :S. hope i can find some, gotta get my mates to. cant wait tho, it'll be a new experience for me. mmmm ive already planned my night, ahhh, startin to feel warm and fuzzy inside:)

Do you have to order tickets now if they are sold out or do you just buy them at the door on the night. im really worried because titty i think its going to be a big one i dont want the pussies shutting us out. feedback advice anyone
 
Buy your tickets ASAP!. online is easiest as stores are selling out fast as more demand for tickets grow!

5000+ people dancing to Hardhouse/Hardcore/Psy-Trance in the Brisbane Entertainment Centre is going to go fkn off!!!
