Breaking 'The Rule' worth it??

Hi everyone,
I know this question may of been answered a million times on here, but I am looking for some hypothetical advice regarding my situation.

To cut a long story short, on the 26th of April (4 days ago), I had a great night on MDMA with friends where I consumed in total about 2 Mortal Kombat pills throughout the night, and drowned in a blissful euphoria and was absolutely spangled! (This was after a 5 week break). Now as you now, I'm all for the once per month maximum rule and have always adopted this approach to my usage. HOWEVER, my question is this: Hypothetically, if I was to drop half a 'White Nintendo' pill this Friday (so 1 week after my previous experience), what could I expect? Or rather, how badly would this fuck me up harm wise?

As stated, this is a hypothetical situation as I have told myself that I know better and that MDMA should be respected etc. However, I'm aware that come Friday, it will be my last ever night at University before I pack to leave, and a certain friend of mine is inviting me over for a final drink where she plans to do a small bit too, so I feel like its a rather special night. With this aside, I have told myself that I shouldn't drop at all as I'm not only breaking the one month rule, but I could risk serious long term effects such as depression from overuse etc.

In case anyone is wondering, I'm not looking for confirmation or an exscuse to consume said drugs, but rather the opinions of others who have used a lower dose the week after etc.

Thanks guys

SR

I like it. You are trying to be safe. Good on you.

I did a few pills each weekend night for months. The drug was equally as effective every weekend for about 3 months when the magic started fading slowly. 7-8 months i had mentally damaged myself badly.

So in theory based on my experience you should obtain the full effect and fully enjoy the experience as per normal without any long term harm as long as you don't make it a habit.

The possible danger you face is the idea that its ok when it seems to work fine without issues. In actual fact you should only use once every two months to ensure safety and no long term issues however long term issues should only develop after disregarding this rule quite a few times in theory. Don't succumb to the temptation of pushing this rule though. We are all different.

In any case besides the risk of damage, its worth sticking to the guidelines to retain the magic. Those who have lost it like myself would do anything to get it back.

its fine to use more than once in a month. if this is only your second time in a month your going to still be able to get wired and enjoy it as much as last time. one month rule doesn't even exist over here as far as i know.

You will still be fine, though half a nintendo may not get you where you want to be after doing it again in a short space of time, A weeks worth of rest and eating though will have done you good, and you may or may not have a good experience out of it. Generally a higher dose would be more appropriate? Just the fact that you might end up taking half and not feeling much and it being wasted.

As has all ready been said its when your doing it weekend after weekend for months on time that you would start to feel the damage, breaking your "own rule" of once a months isnt going to cause much harm, have fun.

If its a special night then just go for it. The 'rules' on here are 'guidelines' as to how stay the absolute safest you possibly can, without abstinence of course.

Like Blight mentioned, the real dangers are when you consume it weekly. Its quite clear that, at least to me, you know what you're doing and understand the dangers.

Have fun.

I would say that in this case the risk is fairly low.. Of course it shouldn't become a habit, but if you just stick to this one week and then take a healthy break afterwards you'll be good.

Unlikely to fuck you up. Any harm likely to go unnoticed.

I have told myself that I shouldn't drop at all as I'm not only breaking the one month rule, but I could risk serious long term effects such as depression from overuse etc.

Personally I would say once per month has its risks. The problem with any type of long term depression etc you wont notice it immediately and its something for the future.

No one on here can say yes you will fuck yourself up or no you wont but very simply the more you do the bigger the risk. Only you can make the decision on how much risk you are willing to take.

All I can say from personal experience is if you do fuck yourself up its a very very unpleasant experience with no rewind option available :(

This needs to be remembered and also the fact that the unpleasant experience can last for years. Worth the risk?

Cheers for the feedback guys. Just some extra info for you all: Friday would be my last experience for at least 5 months, as I am traveling abroard to work, so I will not only have no MDMA in my posession, but do to the nature of my job, I won't be seeking to find any either.

Also, considering during my last experience I dosed a fair bit (2 MK Pills throughout the night), does that increase the risk when deciding to dose a week later? (this is my reason for a smaller dose this time, as I'm aware I caned it the week before). I am very aware of the pain that MDMA abuse can cause, hence I'm asking if a one-time dosing a week later would cause terrible problems....

For reference, this Friday would be my 5th time using MDMA (the other experiences all have a month break inbetween them), so this would be the only exception.

The more you do the greater the risk.

Terrible problems from a one off experience unlikely. Any long term damage you will unlikely notice. Up to you to evaluate the risk no one on here can tell you the exact answer.

I can only assume you want someone to say it will be safe and this way you can justify your decision.

I've seen people abusing MDMA far worse than twice in a week. I think this forum terrifies people a bit.

Personally I usually wait around 6 -8 weeks between sessions BUT if I had 2 cool things to do on 2 weekends I wouldn't even begin to worry about it. Of course, everyone is different.

Just to be clear, I'm not looking for confirmation in regards to abusing MDMA, but rather an opinion on what experience I could expect IF I was to take it this Friday. I'm aware there is an element of risk in dropping, but my main question is rather: 'Does breaking 'the one month rule' once lead to harm?

A big reason people always say limit use to once a month is because the feeling is amazing and it is very psychologically addicting to some people. Once a month can really stop this from taking over your life.

Cheers for the feedback guys. I have decided against it, as whilst I have been sitting here this evening, I have suddenly been hit with quite a low mood, as 2 days after my last MDMA experience, an Ex-Girlfriend of mine started giving me shit and said some fairly insulting stuff. I have found that for the last few days, I'm not sure how much of the low mood is attributed to my heavy session of MDMA or rather me feeling annoyed/down at an Ex-partner.

Oh and rather unusally, I suffered from a case of the 'brain zaps' after my last MDMA usage (first time this has happened), is this anything to be concerned about?

Yeah the brain zaps is when you start to worry. Best chill after that happens.

What do the brain zaps mean then? They have completely gone now ( I only got them a few times when falling alseep on the night of the party). I thought it was a common occurrence after MDMA for some people.

I hope I haven't caused any long-term issues here!

Two Mortal Kombat pills is a very high dose, near a half gram of MDMA. Obviously this is not an incredibly smart idea, but it won't kill you either.

Personally I would just wait another week or two so you can actually enjoy your last roll for a while, but that's me

Cheers for the info :) Whilst the high dose of MDMA is a contributing factor to my bad mood at the moment, I am almost certain that my post-MD blues (something that is very unusual for me), has been bought on by the issues surrounding my ex-girlfriend. To give myself the best chance, I have decided that I won't drop this Friday :)

You should be ok. Brain zaps mean you went overboard with Serotonin production and likely exhausted your supplies. The brain zaps are seemingly the result of low levels and they show up 1-2 days later as a symptoms of the withdrawal from the extreme release of Serotonin.

The night i had mine when i tried ti sleep when i closed my eyes it was like there where flashing lights in my eyes the whole time like police car lights and as soon as i would drift off to sleep i would get shocked awake violently. It was fucking horrible.

This also can happen with SSRI withdrawals so it doesnt mean you have damaged your brain. In my case i had these zaps followed by 3 days of severe depersonalization/derealization where i had no emotion like a robot and everything felt unreal like being in a dream and living somebody elses life.

The above course of events might indicate a more extreme case like mine with possible resulting consequences.
Just brain zaps without the derealization should mean you likely dodged the bullet this time.

This is just my exp.
