Television Breaking Bad

According to Wikipedia
"AMC announced on May 16, 2008 that Breaking Bad will be renewed for a 13-episode second season set to premiere in March 2009."

Can't wait!

I know what you mean, the anticipation of what is going to happen is just too much. I just watched through the entire series and it's crazy how bad I want more :P
Anyone got any good ideas as to what could happen in the second season?
I've always thought what would happen if Walt's brother in law from the DEA caught him. This show has so many possibilities and so many directions it could take.

Just finished watching the premier and it was just as good as I was expecting. Dammit, now I have to wait another week for more...

The season two opener was excellent. The direction of the show stands out, once again. It looks like things are about to get much more chaotic/dangerous for the main characters in the show, and I certainly think that's a good thing. Last season dragged on at times.
Just as an aside. I thought it funny when Tuco was so surprised at the beginning of the show(actually end of last season) that the meth they had cooked was blue. I've actually seen and smoked blue meth. The shards were bluish, it melted down bluish, and the smoke was tinted blue. It was also incredibly fucking potent.
Maybe this isn't all that unusual, it's just that the character acted like it was unheard of(yes I know it's a TV show.) Anyone else ever seen blue meth?

Also, my only other complaint about the shows portrayal of meth and meth abuse is the size of the hits that the characters take. Anyone that knows much of anything about meth knows it's possible to create enormous clouds of smoke from one hit of meth. When one of the characters takes a hit of the fake meth the smoke blown out is comparable to a small toke of bud, at most. Hopefully they correct that so my former tweeker brain can appreciate the show a little more.

i like to watch this show high (duh) to fully immerse in the paranoia. it's got the same edge as the old OZ i find. can any of you meth heads tolerate it while high on your DOC, or does it hit too close to home?

^One of the shows finer points(at least in season 1) is its accurate portrayal of the constant paranoia and surreal existence that goes along with meth addiction. It's hard to say if smoking a puddle before watching would tune me into it or if I would just speed through with little or no memory of the show. Probably speed through.
Unfortunately I can't find out. I haven't touched that shit in 3 years. I would like to though. It does get me fiendin' at times, especially when they pull out those huge bags of shards.

Thanks for the links Joe. Peanut brittle.

hell yea as dank bud makes me paranoid like a tweaker on a week long binge its the show is best to trip out on. especially like when and seen with tuco cause that fucker is so unpredictable, been around so many tweakers like that always on edge don't know what the guy is gonna do next, tense situations.

like wise, with meth tho to me, urges are short-lived and i just rather eat and smoke weed.
