I don't know what that link is, but it's definitely not a link to some newspaper. There is some Man in the Middle shit going on there. It took me like 5 hours to decontaminate my machine. It was fine until I clicked that link.

To be fair the gang never really got confirmation that Hank and Gomez were actually law enforcement. They kept yelling "Show us your badges!" Maybe they thought it was a rival gang that was kidnapping Walt who decided to yell "We're police! Don't shoot!", using that defense tactic after realizing they were outgunned, out-numbered, and alone in the desert.
