Television Breaking Bad

Also very glad to see Walt and Jesse back together, their relationship is one thing the 3rd season has been lacking so far.

Really interested to see where it goes. :)
yea, it will be interesting see em back in the lab. tho kinda weird cause those were some strong words jesse laid on walt at the hospital. the fact that jesse told walt he would use him as his get out of jail free card, walt knew he had to get back with jesse like a "keep your friends close, enemy closer" thing and nobody needs jesse with a chip on his shoulder running around doing small time cookin again.

sucks for the former lab assistant. dude was hella enthusiastic about working with walt.

Thanx for posting that, I didn't know you could watch that online in the US. Too bad for the gentlemen from the Netherlands. =D

We need to balance their karma for all those cool cafes they have.

FINALLY SAW THIS! DAMN! That was one of the most intense scenes I've seen on TV. I was in as much a panic as Hank was in the 3:07 to 3:08 minute.

The look on Hank's face after he shot the brother in the vest a bunch of times for it to have no effect was priceless. I did think it was a little silly that he walked away to grab the ax. Though they have been wanting to use that ax for a while now.

It sounded like it was either Hank's boss or Gustav on the phone. Maybe the bald guy who knew Saul and was the connect to Gustav had been tailing the brothers and giving Gustav updates on their moves? The bald guy was the one who told Gustav that the brothers were going to kill Walt (if you don't know who I'm talking about).

what a way to end it tho. said it before ill say it again its weird how much i like hank considering he works/ed for the dea. guess he is like a character i love to hate. tho the actor does a good job in this role. but dayum he fucked pinkman up then got fucked up himself (coulda been curtains for him tho). karma is a bitch. ha

The only scenes I've seen twice are the beginning with the old man and 2 brothers and the part where Hank beats up Jesse. The first punch Hank lands on Jesse caused me to cover my mouth in pain each time. Bam! Nails him! They did a good job making that look real.

Awesome overall episode! So much stuff happened!

"There's no honor among thieves. Except for us of course." :D

I gave my opinion about that on the last page. And yes, its an awesome show.

Yes, 'that', because I only said one thing. I'm guessing you're talking about the part with Gustav? I was just adding in that the white bald guy could possibly have been the one who was tipping Gustav off as to what was going on with the brothers.

On some other forums I have seen people suspect Hanks boss....like maybe he is in on the whole thing....Personally I still think its Gustav unless they are just throwing us for a twist.

Somehow I doubt that theory, but we will find out next week.

I actually thought it was the Cartel boss.. Because the brothers disobeyed him by targeting a dea-agent. They all seem to be really distrustful of Gustav too, and since he gave the green light for the hit it might have stirred up something. Lots of good stuff.

Pretty good episode. I sort of felt like Jesse waiting for Walt to come to the lab or the family waiting for Hank to come around, as I was waiting for something to happen.

Obviously slower episodes like this are integral to building up the story and building up the suspense, but that episode did move kind of slow. Jesse was good comic relief whenever he was on screen, "You need to be 20' further from the hospital if you want to smoke out here"
-"Roll me further bitch"

That Gustavo sure is a sly dude though. Is he hoping to take over Mexico's trade as well?

Wow. The past few episodes have been really cracking things wide open.

I was so sure Hank was going to figure out Walt's involvement at some point in the past couple episodes, but now that he's been critically hit, I'm not so sure. It just seems, though, like time is running out fast.. considering most of the secrets regarding involvement between characters, who's doing what with who, etc, have been outed.

I haven't trusted "the chicken man" Gustavo for the longest time. Something about him puts me at a great unease. I think he IS the one that set the cartel assassins up to get killed, by warning Hank of their approach, in a sly move to save Walt's ass, but what will he do when he decides he doesn't "need" Walt anymore and that he and Jesse are too much of a liability? I mean, he already knows Walt's brother in law is in the DEA.

One question, though: Where the fuck is the baby anymore?! Who was watching the baby while Hank's family was camped out at the hospital? Is Skylar that much of a bitch. that she would forget she has an infant daughter?

lol no, when walt came to the hospital he specifically asked "where's holly ?" skyler said she got a babysitter.

its official, after this episode gus is now my favorite fictional drug kingpin. cool, calm and calculated. i sort of wish the beef with him and the mexican cartel boss played out longer, one second he is accusing/threatening gus very next second federales are pointing lasers at his chest. o well.

also like that little scene when jesse called the hospital for walt and he tries to play it off to skyler "u know who that was?" then she gives him that look like "you're not foolin anyone"

if i ever break up with a girl i'm a use that line walt used on gale "were just two different rhythms, im classical and your more... (/me snaps fingers) jazz" lol

It probably wasnt feds surrounding the compound. He probably assumed they were feds but were acctually Gustavs assassins.....The brothers were badass motherfuckers, but Gustavs assassins are like a paramilitary special ops unit.

Its a bold move on Gustavs part. I wonder how he is going to explain this to the cartel. I wonder if the cartel will just take the loss because the brothers attacked the DEA. Gustav can blame the family entirely and the cartel will not back him up if they broke the rules costing them all money and freedom of movement....there is probably some code that was broken that gave him a 'green light' which would prevent others from retaliating....but it was really Gus that set them up, using the brothers to sever that families protection from the cartel by telling them to attack the DEA, so not only are the brothers gone but the whole family is now wiped out and the cartel cant do anything about it......there may still be reprisals though.

Marie is a cunt too, it looks like it runs in the family. Episode 8 was severely lacking in Odenkirkage.
