Don't catch them in a festival setting and yes, they have very crazy theatrics during their shows.
You have no excuse, they're always touring. What city are you closest to?

I'm in San Diego, so they're always playing LA, and getting up there never seems to work - but then I never really plan.....
 
Patti Smith/Neil Young & Crazy Horse were amazing. Played a solid mix of old stuff and new stuff. If you are a Young fan and haven't picked up Psychedelic Pill, you should remedy that immediately. I was slightly disappointed they closed with "Farmer John" instead of some other things they had been closing with but that fact that I finally got to hear Neil Young play any-fucking-thing he wanted live made up for that.

meshuggah playing here next week and katatonia this friday. i've seen both bands before and cannot wait to see them again.

Xmas jam fucking ruled as always. Warren is such a professional. Surprise guest was the Avett brothers, which was really awesome.

String cheese absolutely murdered. Karl Denson came out with them and it ruled.

Complete shit show. I barfed on myself.

Sheryl Crow was horrible. Actually she encored with cant find my way home with trombone shorty and warren, and that was pretty rad. Blind boys had warren onstage the whole time, and that was sweet. Trombone shortys set was great. The avetts only played about a 50 minute set and it was kinda disappointing. String cheese owned the show. We left about halfway through wArren Haynes band, cuz none of us has any juice left in the tank. Xmas jam is tiring as fuck. I took today off of work. Great weekend in the mountains. We had a sick cabin.

I seen them play a very hot afternoon set at Bonnaroo one year
It was so incredibly hot though that I couldn't really dance or try to make my way to the front of the pit with out dying of heat exhaustion

People were literally dropping like flies that year from the intense Tennessee summer heat
My girl and I just found a big tree to lay under in the shade while listening to there set
 
We'll see y'all soon. Poopie nursed me back to health with food and movies today. I think I'm better now, but I'll be in bed before the game even starts tonight. It was a pretty wild weekend.
 
I saw Papa Roach, Stone Sour & The Hounds last week, was the first gig i've ever been to and it was probably the best night of my life. Got drunk and enjoyed it all, was on the edge of a circlepit which went on for hours and people were going off like mad. loved it
 
please invite us to your 13th birthday party, we'd all love to see our little one all grown up! <3


eta: CS, braxton is MIA and not answering our texts. he was headed down to jekyl and said he'd be back thursday. it's tuesday and no word. any suggestions?
