I'd be excited too
I seen him jam with Ben Harper and ?uest Love one night, it was pretty awesome, they did a When The Levee Breaks cover and that's always been one of my favorite Zeppelin tunes

Wow really? That sounds awesome. He's gonna be a guest at a Supersilent gig so I'm not sure there'll be any Zep tunes but I'm certainly keeping my fingers crossed.

Just got my Red Hot Chili Pepper tickets for New Years Eve in Las Vegas at the Cosmopolitan. I am so excited, first NYE that I am single for a long time!!!!!!

I caught Steve Vai recently...the songs from the new album (Story of Light) sound GREAT live, and of course he played some of my favs from Passion and Warfare...
One of the biggest surprises from this show was the opening act...Beverly McClellan opened.....I had never heard of her before, but apparently she was one of the finalists from that show The Voice.(not sure what season...i've never actually seen that show)
She has a shaved head (shiny like a cue ball) and a buncha tats...i didn't know what to expect when she walked out on stage, but HOLY SHIT that chick has some serious pipes. Very bluesy kinda style...extremely powerful voice. I later saw that she does the vocals on a couple tracks on Steve Vai's latest album too, so I went out and got that. Good stuff!

I just got my tickets to see citizen cope in Atlanta on my birthday! I am so excited I have been a huge fan of his for a few years now and I hear his live shows can be special.

M83 at a festival recently, sat and smoked Js the entire time and had my mind blown like 200 times....

The guitarist was jammin super hard and almost knocked his roadie off stage hehe

i missed the swans again. they played in berlin in early august. obviously i'm an abject failure.

saw my boys ekoostik hookah last night
some lame festie where it's not even about he music anymore

they never play east of 'burgh but this night they came to my county

i was on the guest list

i like being considered a friend by the band i love

they were on fire, as always

i've seen twin shadow three times now, but i feel like this one was the best. he played all da best songs and it was way heavier and darker and nastier than the other shows. he played my favourite song as the closer and it almost was a metal song, it was really fantastic. i was super into it. then i passed out on a roof top deck in midtown and lost my phone, so it was really nice night all around.

this is the fourth time i've "heard" about swans. am i missing something?

Sleigh Bells cancelled do to an injury. oh well.

oh bums. great show. grimes is really soon for me and i'm really excited about it. i'm going with a tumblr friend from alabama because pander said he didn't want to go twice. so instead some girl from birmingham is going to crash on my couch for a night and we'll go. i think her name is andria. maybe. i know her tumblr name is full-moon-glow.

Going to see Corin Tucker tonight at a real small venue. I am listening to her solo stuff for the first time. Should be a good time. There are so many shows tonight in Boston it's not even fair but I promised a lady I'd go with her to this one. I liked Sleater Kinney well enough so I am willing to give this a go.

The rest of the year is chock full of shows.

Calexico w/The Dodos
Blitzen Trapper
Polica
Frightened Rabbit
Heartless Bastards [again]
Tame Impala
Devil Makes Three
Swans
Father John Misty

Anais Mitchell

There's more...sigh...
