I just saw Clutch tonight and it was fucking incredible. I'm really pissed though 'cause I can't seem to figure out one of the songs they played. It was a little slower, very blues-y, and by far one of the sexiest songs I have ever heard. I wanted to rip off all my clothes about 30 seconds into it. I think it was something with wolves in the title? Fuck it's gonna bug me until I figure it out.

I just found out that Fall of Troy are coming to Vancouver on April 11, accompanied by none other than Protest the Hero. I'm going to thrash myself into a coma. I'm booking the subsequent Friday off as soon as I go to work on Monday. It's gonna be pretty epic. =D

I wish I could go to Sasquatch! The line-up isn't super awesome or anything, but I'd love to see The Flaming Lips, The Mars Volta and a few more of the acts.

tomorrow: Spoon (for free)
This weekend: Vampire Weekend (also free).

Last week I saw: Rockerlips and Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin

I'm trying to see Spoon Friday night here...we'll see if it works out. Otherwise, I'll be checking out the Yeasayer show in a couple weeks and then Drive-By Truckers in May.

Bootsy, Buckethead? Are they playing together? Details!

(ps EiTS was among the best shows I've perhaps ever seen)

nurpe: theyre playing different dates, different locations. Thats cool though. Bootsy needs room to stretch his arms out and get funky.
