^ yah man this tour rules, just wait till the closing act with the Jucifer and giant Tyranosaurus Rex vs Oderus and his huge ass sword! I actually liked the War Party tour better just cuz Dying Fetus opened for them, but still, this tour is **NOT** to be missed. I got there late and missed the Red Chord, but im not really into that style of music so diddnt care.
i stayed sober cuz i had to drive (well i had to drink at least one beer lol), but damn the show was incredible either way. id be kicking myself in the face right now if i hadnt gone to that.

I'm not going to brag about an upcoming show, but instead the Spoon show I went to a week ago in which I had a nice and legitimate discussion with Britt Daniel (lead singer, etc.) of Spoon. Cool guy and he waved to me and a friend later that night.

I just saw Finder's band, Pilot, and they were great! Honestly I was really impressed with Finder's drumming and vocals. I wish he would have sang more. Seriously after tonight I can safely say that (unlike myself) his music snobbery is justified!

i just went to see the rolling stones...
OMG! they fucking rocked.
ive not been to many concerts.. only tool, and nin twice... (and a few other local bands not worth mentioning), and WOW o WOW did the stones blow my mind.
so in this thread, post your experiences, id like to hear how they compared to mine:
there were fireworks, a huge light display on the stage w/ 3 tiers that had people in them, straight up fire jets shot up from the top of the stage (i could feel them 200 yards away!). and to top it off, the stage moved. so they actually toured around the crowd, so everyone got to see them jam right up in front of the stage.

Supposed to be the best Pink FLoyd tribute band around. Apparently they played at David Gilmour's 50th birthday party....ya gotta be good to be invited to play at original Pink Floyd band members birthday parties right? I can't wait.

On the 10th of November I'm seeing the fucking Anti-Nowhere League.
So, so stoked.
And I saw Mark of Cain for the third time again last night. Glad they've finally got another drummer (they've been through like 14 or so) so they can record and tour again. Pretty weird that they now have the drummer from Helmet and Tomahawk being that they're an Aussie band.
