Boyfriends daily use of weed

Sorry my earlier post was a bit harsh.

I know you love him but I think you are just enabling him. I know you don't want him to end up on the street but you shouldn't be enabling his drug problems either. It seems like you have mostly realized that.
 
Weed didn't MAKE him lazy or jobless, but it doesn't seem to be helping matters. If he could smoke and be productive, that's one thing. But to sit around all day doing ANY leisure activity while unemployed is not okay. If he's spending money he doesn't have, that's even worse.

I'm not a fan of ultimatums, but this might be a good time for one. No hard-working person wants to be with a slacker, and why should they? I know plenty of serious potheads who hold full-time jobs or work 80 hours a week, so it can be done.

Bottom line: weed is a symptom of a bigger problem.
 
LOl I wish I had a girlfriend like Space kitten. My last relationship (3 year) I always had a job, paid rent, etc. and my gf STILL bitched at me for smoking and doing other shit all the time. There was like a 2 week period where I couldn't work and she gave me shit about it non-stop....lol.
 
Well pussywhipping is a tried and true technique for gettting a man to do shit against his will. Tell him if you'll fuck him everyday for a month if he passes a drug test on the 1st of that month.

EDIT: I'm drunk and high. The high part of me says that's not right. But the drunk part of me says I'm a pussy for trying to edit it. So there is my totally useless opinion...uncensored.
 
i smoke pretty much 24/7 but still have a full time job that pays well, and was raised with a good work ethic i couldent imagine not having a job , i realize some people are different but to me if you dont have a job or any type of real income you dont belong buying or doing drugs and if you are its a problem. how can he be truly be looking for a job while he has thc in his system most jobs you go for now require a drug test. not meaning to bash just an opinion
 
You can pass drug tests easily with THC in your system nowadays. Or at least, I will argue that you can still reasonably seek menial work while using THC. Urine tests are foolproof if a sober urine donor is obtained, and saliva swabs are negated with toothpaste/mouthwash with just slight advance warning. Ive passed both with flying colors, in fact, I no longer fear either method pre employment. And drunk potheads like me are often pre-employment : (

Im just saying THC in ones system is no reason not to get a job. PM me if you feel you cant pass a drug test, Ill coach you through clean as a whistle. Ive passed drug tests higher than a kite, Ive even made amateur semi-undercover videos on HOW to pass drug tests while Im out gettin stoned on camera in the parking lot minutes before hand. No exaggeration at all. Literally video taping myself getting high, 10 minutes before a piss test I pass with flying colors.
