but seriously, i can't get more than one tiny red speck for a ping. sometimes i shoot or stab point blank three-four times to no avail. infuriating.

i made a deal with the landlord. he'll get an electrician to come in and check our phone lines/sockets and if there is nothing wrong, i'm going to pay for it.
 
^ It isnt your internets fault. For some reason infinity wards servers suck at making connections between Australia/Europe and America. Since the majority of players come from the US, anyone outside of it that is connected to them is going to have a shitty connection. On the Infinity Ward forums (yes, Im that obsessed with this game) its the biggest topic of discussion. Aussies/Europeans got screwed with January's connectivity patch, if you guys even got one at all. Matchmaking has been horrible since then.

oh, and i replaced the cable from my router to my xbox, and suddenly my pings are good. now, for the first time, i've called a few air strikes and made the leaderboard. big fuckin difference.

just in time for gta :D:D:D:D:D
