Golly, there's some mighty fine entries already this week but as I'm getting photo comp withdrawal symptoms I'll have to have a bash. My macro's rubbish so no sexy close-ups of strange creatures. I got lots of insect portraits over the weekend but this is probably my favourite - not despite the blurriness of the bee but because of it, funnily enough .

this is one of my most prized photos. i dont think any of the previous contests really allowed me to use this photo.
but please let me know if any of you guys have seen this picture in a earlier round.

wow BA, i think your getting pretty acustumed to your D40, you should replace that one with a new version closer to 700x700. that photo is too nice for that small size.

so far i like BA's & Detergent's best.

Thanks, but I shot that with my D300 and Sigma 50-150 f/2.8 lens last week.

I'll re-up a link to full size tomorrow, I just snagged that medium sized shot from my flickr page in a hurry.
