It's cool, man. There are other photo threads around where you can share photos. There's one in the lounge and probably one in second opinion as well.

this contest sure took a funny turn all of the sudden!

This shot was taken at a place called Newnes in the Blue Mountains in NSW Australia.

It depicts some of the old remnants of what was once a large coal mining operation situated in the middle of the bush. It was operated during the early 1900s and is now just a mass of ruins which covers a surprisingly large area of tens of acres.

Gratuitous motorbike shot, just for the hell of it. It had to happen sooner or later... :) (I struggle to find photos *without* my bike in them, hehe.)

Dont worry, I will sneak it in somewhere sooner or later........lol.

Sweet ride Felix.

arg... i hate that i can't get better quality out of this photo scanner :\ ah well... I stumbled onto this old cemetery by accident and as you can tell i found the contrast of the background more interesting than the tombstones (taken with a polarized filter)

Where is the light coming from in this picture? Because of the shadows, it looks like it's coming from the bottom left and the top left?

I'm not sure, I took this picture over the summer. There was light coming from the window and I think a low flash.
