ManBearPig, I love New Smyrna Beach. I drive out there at least once a week, but I can never convince other people to come watch the sunrises! It's sooo serene out there in the morning. Great shot.

Don't be so hard on yourself, Ms Thrill. I'm far from an expert but I studied photography for three years at college (hard to believe from some of my pics, I know :\) have been happily snapping away for the last 18 years and I, in my very most humble of opinions, rather like the your piccies :).

In fact I like quite a lot of the shots so far but am mildly irritated that the shot I've been saving looks a little too much like one that's already been posted. Bollocks. Oh well, I'm off to the beach tonight so I'm taking my camera and hoping for some decent light :).

Wow, I went back a page to test this and I fully see what you mean about the pyramid, when I unfocus my eyes. It's uncanny, looks so 3D!

Wish my picture was as good as this. My one is exactly the same, but without the sea-gull and lack of definition (phone camera).
