it was an area on a very quiet beach about 15' x 6', covered in these erosion patterns on the dunes. i could just imagine tiny stars wars characters flying through them %)

or me squishing the dunes between my toes. muahahaha!

staroceanhgouse...............is that real? How comew everything is in focus? Or was it a pic of a painting?
 
If your balls were small enough to fit between them slats then i dont think you claim to have balls to start with.

I like this picture mainly because of the huge diversity in geology in such a small area, if anyone else likes rocks haha. I have plenty of photos that capture "beach" more, but they all seem a little cliche and boring so I thought I'd post this.

It's a predator-proof fence, there's a colony of rare penguins just around the bay a bit from there. The cliffs and fencing together means nothing nasty gets in.
 
New Zealand, that's an awesome piece of coast around Banks Peninsula, next to Christchurch where I live. I love walking out there, lots of old lava flows and such, and old WWII gun emplacements all over the place. Fun to explore :) Need to practice taking photos so I can produce some decent entries - this competition is good motivation :)
