Bluelight weekly photography contest Round 47: Seasons - Autumn (Fall), 2007

Not sure about the name of the tree. I'm sure there will be a lot more color changing in the next few weeks. I live in the Midwest US.

Finder will probably recognize where it is!

you can actually see 2 bridge in there,,

(over the saint lawrence river)
from a distance, the cantilever bridge right next to the suspension bridge look very, very like the forth road and rail bridges:

i got excited - the forth rail bridge is my favourite bridge in the world. i always try to pay a visit when i'm home.

^ my mum would give you a slap for that. (not literally ;))

the word 'rail' is redundant.

merely calling it the Forth Bridge is sufficient. :|

p.s. i love it too... i can't keep my eyes off it when i'm going over the road bridge. i also blame iain banks for this. :)

well, since the road bridge is with us now, explicitly stating 'rail' avoids confusion. will you forgive me if i tell you i refer to the royal mile as the high street :)

'the bridge' was, for the longest time, my favourite book.

alasdair

of course i forgive you. ;)

aye, the bridge is his best (non-M) book, by far.

could we BE more off topic? i blame you, sir. :!
