I love the cat photo.
And with my photo i didn't do anything but change it to black and white (the chimps). That same day i took the most beautiful photo of a human baby (about a year old) put it's little hand up against the glass and a baby chimp put his hand up to the class just as a snapped the photo. I was using a digital camera at the time (my 1st out of 3 digital cams) and when i looked at the picture i gasped and Quickly showed to the parents of the child. The mother actually started to cry and said "I can't believe you just took that photo, it's beautifu). I than asked for the permission to use the photo since there was a minor in it and the parents said sure long as i e mailed a copy.
Well i lost the darn photo when my external drive crashed. Why i didn't get that copied and pic of the two chimps cuddling i don't know. Makes me so mad. I have a actual 8x10 of it somewhere so i can scan it but i have no idea where it is.
It's probably the most beautiful photo I've ever taken in my 20 years taking photo's. The baby hand was right up to the baby chimps hand (protected by glass of course) and both infants looked right at each other in the eyes and they were both about the same size. I got it at the right angle just at the right moment. I'd give anything to have that photo back.
I emailed it to the parents who were on vacation from Australia but never heard back from them. I wanted to send them paperwork for them to sign so i could use the photo and sell it like i did my other photo's. I wanted more than a verbal 'ok'. Oh well, i can't find the photo anyway. The baby is probably about 6 or 7 now.
I'm hoping that someday my external drive will get fixed. My uncle is working on it but only knows about PC's and can't find a Mac to fix it so someday i gotta just take it to the Mac store i guess (it was formatted on a mac). But it's gonna be damn pricey.
I had over 8000 photo's on that hard drive along with family photo's. Photo's of pets that are long gone. Makes me so mad when i think about all the photo's i lost. I still cry about it to this day.
Anyway, that would have been a photo i think you all would have loved.
