I have a new theory on relationships, that is, that they are inherently futile. Inevitably, you get hurt or you hurt someone else; neither of which is a desirable outcome.

Now people fuck on about 'the journey' and learning and all that crap but........pfffttt. I have recently moved on from what was the most intense (if shortlived) relationship i wish to ever experience and i just think all of it is a complete waste.

Does anyone consider whether it is really worth it?

People like to fuck each other over purely for entertainment purposes only at times.. therefore based on that assumption, humans have been going about this whole thing the wrong way.

You should be in a relationship with someone you DONT LIKE- so when the inevitable fucking over occurs its actually funny and a good thing and something to look forward to. Then you have months of bitching about said person ahead of you! This is great!

I am coming back in my next life as a praying mantis.

*ahem* ok so i havn't given up on men altogether. I have a date tonight. Sounds promising. We seem to "connect" but i'm not putting all my eggs into one basket (I always do that) and am just going to go with the flow and see what happens... no expectations etc
 
Where do you hang out sydkiwi? There are lots of really great guys in Sydney it's just that they tend to congregate in particular areas. I suggest you stay away from the backstreets of Kings Cross and Hemmesphere. You won't have much luck there.

And besides, maybe it's not the WHOLE WORLD that is the problem but you and your perceptions.
