I think the worst thing about being single and [even worse] a happy single is that you get this really irritatingly chirpy persona which you thought was out of character but maybe I'm not a moody bitch afterall?

I've finally noticed this 'happy with yourself other people will like you' phenomena because I have met so many people over the past few weeks. Even sitting down today for five minutes having a cigarette this chick came over and started chatting then invited me to some random party. It's great. And for the first time ever girls that I meet while out are calling the next day to organise a further outing. That never happens - all my female friends I've met through guys, or high school, or BL...

I'm surprised that so many people are really negative about being single.

I have learnt so much about myself and become a much happier person in the last year since my last relationship ended.

It will have to be someone amazingly special to make me want to comit to another relationship any time soon.
