Backo: I agree with lots of what you say. Especially the fact that people insist that drugs are needed for this particular element of their personality to "exist" - you're so right, this is them selling themselves short - it's just that their substance of choice might make it easier for them to tap into this side of themself, which I think is an advantage that can't be denied - AS LONG as people [and i understand not nearly everyone does] use this as that - an aid - not a crutch.

As you said - in some people's terms - drugs helped you become more socially confident, but as you say, this is obviously an element of your personality that exists without drugs - does now, but may not have been discovered without their aid.

But who are we to decide that? :)

For me - particular drugs still provide me with interesting perspectives on different things, but I don't, and hope that I never do, rely on them to be a certain person. I hope that if anything they can enhance certain situations, but that I would not want to know anyone who didn't want to know the person I am sober....

There is no use being vague when you are trying to get a point accross. Mixed messages are often recieved. We are so used to everything being shortened and simplified because we are too lazy to sit down and think.

No, if you would care to look at what i was saying, i was merely objecting to the fact that Shnouzerpuff was poking shit at what i was saying. If you are going to object to something, thats fine, but when people label it as boring or that it "makes your eyes glaze over", thats where it becomes annoying. We are here to learn from each other not belittle each other.

Well let me first let me start off by saying what i say to cynakill is between me and him... If you would care to scroll up just a little you will notice what he said to me... I totally respect what you said, infact i thought what you said was great. :) Man, some of you people are so damn cynical and paranoid.. geez8( I dont appriciate people slamming what i believe, esspecially since you dont know me. :( I may be direct and i may disagree with people, but i would never ever accuse someone of "talking shit" esspecially if it has anything to do with spirituality or beliefs.

Also id like to add, that i am by no means trying to push my beliefs on anyone, those who have any knowledge of what im talking about, would also know that it is up to the listener to analyse it themselves. I just dont like it when people assume, thats whats clearly going on here.
