Bluelight Singles thread "Living without justification" Part 2

^^^^^^ if you just wanna pash, go to a classy pub. as most rich people tend to be good looking as well, the $6 for a james boags will eliminate the usual VB scum you will see around.

and trust me, the guys who go to these pubs are ALWAYS looking...... that is, unless you go to one where they are just drinking stollies... well, they are all still looking... but looking at each other... :)

oooooo a singles thread!!
*makes tea, grabs book, blanket and pillow, and moves into singles thread*
*realises she should have packed more, as she'll be here for a while*

What, is it the lighting in pubs? :D More lighting=more reality

I've been doing all the single guy stuff lately- approaching women in the pub/club, getting set up by friends, wearing sharp clothes, learning new dance moves etc.
and quite frankly I feel like a dick. I hope my efforts pay off some time soon.

This thread is depressing me :|

Can't say I enjoy being single, but I know there are people worse off ...

Ahh being single, such a glorious paradox. I'm enjoying my singledom as of late though. This is basically because i recognise alot more OPPORTUNITIES around than i did before. The whole thing of where to meet people is always an interesting one but when you think about it, theres members of the opposite sex everywhere, its just a matter of having the balls (in the case of males) to suck up your pride and go and strike up a conversation. Like papermate mentioned, seeing girls at the bustop, supermarket, whatever.

Gaining this confidence is a gradual process, one that i'm still at the very beginning of, however by simply realising that opportunities exist daily i've been having more fun. I think the key element is to approach it all with a more playful and fun attitude. I like talking and meeting new people so if i view it all as a learning process and just a stage of living life then it takes on a much more vibrant coat of paint. Here's one crucial piece of advice for everyone, not just in relation to being single but to life in general

If what you are doing isn't working, try something different

Try ANYTHING different. Experiment. Have fun. Do something silly just for a laugh. If you are not happy with your results in the past, think about what you have done - what worked? What didnt? Is there a pattern forming? If you habitually happen to get unsatisfactory results, CHANGE APPROACH.

Remember, there is no failure, only feedback

:)

EDIT: Regarding Hillsong - they have a large amount of attractive people but i dunno, cults ain't really my thing. That would be an interesting experience though, a Sydney BL massive field trip to Hillsong. Remember to bring your bankcard though because theres no excuse for passing the collection plate eftpos machine on without making your contribution to God. He needs your money, heavens gates are rusty.

my name is astrosmurf and i'm single.
i have been single for about 5 months now and already my life is starting to look up...

i wouldn't say i'm actively looking or not looking, if it happens it happens. i'm not too bothered by it.

And this is why keej is single:

kristof says:
i'm trying to recall an ugly nice person i know
kristof says:
or wait
kristof says:
ugly but beautiful by being nice
kristof says:
i dont know, i ignore ugly people
kristof says:
seriously

"ugly but beautiful by being nice"

sounds like the new years when i was semi-passed out in the dark and an ugly girl put my hand down her shirt and started rubbing my hand all over her breasts. that was very nice and beautiful gesture, but she was still dog ugly.
