It's late, and I've been up for ages reading this thread, I was going to leave a response until tomorrow, but I'll probably forget it all...
The thing that worries me most about being in a relationship while I am still young, and supposed to be "living it up", is that I will get trapped, and realise when it is too late that 'the grass is greener...'.
I'm worried I will fall for someone before I have experienced enough to really know what I want, and what will keep me happy. So I have a lot of trouble viewing a relationship as being sustainable long-(long)-term.
It's not an issue now, but I don't want to be opting-out of something worthwhile when I am older, simply because I can't mature past this current mentality.
But I have found that the more you think about things like this, the less it helps. I have a strong 'take life as it comes at me, and deal with it then' approach. And at the moment I am content to let things play themselves out, with as little analytical thought and advanced planning as possible.
