After being away from the site for a while, I'm back! Would be nice to try and organise a meet up for UK bluelighters. I know they've been successful in the past, even spawning a marriage if I'm not mistaken.

So, what do people think, anyone up for it? Put your name down if you are interested!

Every now and again someone come along and suggests this, everyone gets all excited and everyone is up for it but when it comes down to it it is a pretty hard thing to organise, with people all around the country having to be available on the same night and be willing to travel to wherever it is.

Not trying to put a downer on it. I'm in if it happens. Just needs someone with the organisation skills of a (tries to think of someone really organised) .......... person with OCD focused on organising 8) to make it ever happen.
 
I would have thought London was the obvious choice no? If people register interest then we can set a date in the near future and hopefully most people will be able to arrange coming. If not everyone can, then so be it.

I would certainly be happy to do the organising. My social life needs a kick up the arse and I'm not working at the moment so I've got plenty of time to do so.
 
london was the obvious choice when everyone lived in or near london. Brizzle would have been my obvious choice to be honest but not sure how many are already there now, seems we have a lot up norf, so maybe somewhere in the midlands would be better to accomodate everyone. Birmingham, or maybe up in Manchester or a bit higher so the scots can come down too.

Unlikely I would attend, it's easier finding your BLrs out and about. But I'd recommend sharing your e-mails with each other for this one.

lol the police aren't gonna bother with a small bl meet up, that probably wont even happen

Yeah, I believe it was Australia. They were just cracking open the drugs and saying Hi to each other when the door burst open and the five-oh charged in.

I dunno Colt, whenever I hear that the police won't bother because "they have better things to do.." a chill always runs down my spine in apprehension :)
 
I'm thinking late Jan early Feb?

London would be better than bristol I would have thought for easy access for everyone.
 
bristol over london hands down, purely for ease of hassle free drug taking! and im in london!

edit: not that id be invited or owt :p just putting in my thoughts
