Not really, although it is only his first year so he has done well to make the finals. Still have no respect for Bomber Thompson for the way he pressured Ablett last year and then walked out on Geelong.

I respect a person that comes back to a club where he played his whole career and comes back to that club to give something back and at a time when we needed him to be honest. He came back because he was sick of coaching and is in a different role at essendon.

As I said, I lost respect for him for constantly pressuring Ablett to stay at Geelong, talking about honesty and loyalty, when he clearly was making plans to leave the club himself well before the end of the season.

Was basically a mismatch between Carlton and Essendon. Carlton lost or drew games that it should have won , missing out on a top four finish, whilst Essendon probably benefited from Freo's injury woes this year to scrape into the eight. Still was an awesome atmosphere at the game for Blues fans who had waited through the worst decade in the clubs history for a finals win.

Now all I want is for the Warriors to win this afternoon to make it a great grand final weekend :D
 
I watched yesterdays game at a sports bar on the Qld coast. I sat with another family member in a sea of collingwood supporters and watched my beloved cats take their 3rd flag in 5 years!

We are Geelong, the GREATEST team of all :)
