I agree that if Selwood knew that tattoo was of Headlands daughter and he DID say those things then he really has problems and needs to have a good long hard think about it.
But from looking at the tattoo its kind of hard to distinguish if it looks like a child or not. Taunting a player about having sex with his wife or girlfriend is very common. Headland refused to discuss the matter with Selwood, who btw offered the olive branch on numerous occaisons in an attempt to explain himself.
lastly I agree that Headland reacted in a way we all would if we believed someone was making grotesque sexual comments about our own child, but you have to pay for your actions when you subscribe to the rules.
Headland obviously got the benefit of the doubt last night, however it was more likely that the AFL didn't want to inflane the situation by slapping a suspension on him. End result, problem on hold... to be worked out at the next derby!
